CEVO is pleased to announce the opening of registration for our second season of Day of Defeat 1.3. With our last tournament in the past, we've decided to move to a season based format for our Day of Defeat events.
CEVO is also excited to announce that Season 2 will be absolutely FREE for ALL players.
Registration for CEVO Day of Defeat Season 2 will open on Monday, August 10th at midnight and remain open until Sunday, September 6th at midnight.
How To Register:
All players will need to register a personal CEVO user account to participate in CEVO events. If you do not already have one, click "register now" under the CEVO Members section of the website and follow the instructions.
Team Captains:
The Team Captain or Manager is responsible for registering their team for the event. Captains who have already created a team for another CEVO Day of Defeat event do not need to create a new team - you can simply join this event with your current team. To sign your current team up for this event, login to your personal user account then go to "teams"->"view my teams" (or click "Manage My Teams" on the main account page). Click on the "manage" link corresponding to your team and then click "Sign Team Up for a CEVO Event".
If you are a Team Captain needing to create a team, login to your personal user account then go to "teams"->"create a team" (or click "Create a Team" on the main account page).
Once the team is created/registered for the event, each team member may join the roster by logging into their personal user account on the website and clicking “Join A Roster”.
Team Players:
In order to join a roster, your team captain must have already registered your team for this event. Once that is done, to join the roster, login to your personal user account and click "teams"->"Join a Roster" (or simply click "Join a Roster" on the main account page).
On the Join Roster page, choose this event from the drop-down menu, then type all or part of the team name and click "Find Team". When the search finishes, click the "join" button corresponding to your team.
Event Details:
The event will consist of one open skill division, FREE (CEVO-FREE).
- FREE for ALL players - 1 National Conference - 8 Weeks of regular season play - One match a week (Thursday Deadline) - Double Elimination Playoffs

Yeah, you know, funny thing advent, CEVO figured with CAL gone, we would give DOD a home. No real conspiracy there and if you would like to wait a few years for CAL to maybe come back then be my guest.
Thursdays are "deadline dates". What this means is that teams will have 7 days to schedule and play their match. So if a match is scheduled on a friday and due the next thursday, the team could theoretically turn around and play the match that same friday evening.
This type of schedule not only allows teams to work around work and life schedules, but it allows them to play in other leagues and other games without having one set commitment every week that oculd become problemsome.
Celone thanks alot man you are clearly a good guy just trying to help everyone out. I'm very impressed with the way you put this together and listened to what everyone had to say. good job sir can't wait for the season to start
wow.... the idea of just having a dead line day for matches is brilliant.... why hasn't anyone thought of this before? Or if someone has why has it never been implemented before?
I'm not complaining about it, just saying... I think it's a bit odd that the league drops us when we had good participation but now thinks our community is worth while? Must be a management change or something..
I registered Sp3c, but I must say that site is very confusing. I'm not a fan. Is there a place to see all of the current registered teams? Also, I clicked on "roster" for my team and the STEAM IDs weren't listed.... will they be there for us to verify before the matches?
