[gomi*] takes a break from competitive play as a team. Here is [gomi*] seveN's official statment regarding Team Get Off My Internet: Yes, [gomi*] is going inactive for the time being. Everyone on the team has lost interest in DoD, and I would rather let the team retire than recruit 3+ players to play matches. It just wouldn't feel like gomi anymore. One thing is for sure, though. [gomi*] WILL be back. So, until then, peace. [gomi*]'s lineup @ time of retirement: seveN[dd] luk[dd] soniK[dd] DarkRabbi ShotgunDerek[dd] L7NX[dd] pie[dd] ackpth- excessum I would like to take a moment to thank all past members of the team: knockout Qu1rkZ dutchfoo shotgunbill dane snootalade kuruptirl 1-ofa-kind P@iNkillEr cynikaL jfogle kanga superfly dorito Shoutouts to everyone from (in no particular order) [dd], [RVC], dying-breed, veracity, #gomi.dod, ronin, dicE, compLexity, [cyberGoMi*], LLLATE, bowlcuts, socal lan 4 peeps, and all the regulars from the nightly gomi/rvc 12mans. You all know who you are, so I don't need to list off a billion names. Screenshots from every match [gomi*] has ever played can be found HERE. Our movies can be found HERE. [gomi*]'s final league record: 22-3. The remaining players in [gomi*] that still want to play DoD (seveN sgd & L7NX) have moved on to #team.ronin From seveN: Thanks to everyone in the DoD community for makin this game so much fun for me and my cs buddies. I still believe DoD1.3 is the most fun game I've ever played and i'ts a shame I didn't get into it sooner. I had more fun getting 2nd @ socal4 with bowlcuts than any CS LAN I've ever been to. I'll be seeing u guys @ Socal5 and CPL (if dod ever gets there again). Peace & GL to all |
