Oh wow. This would be a fun match to watch at cpl, but not online. ENErvate will be dominating all parts of the map against Pandemic this week. I'm expecting vasily and ace to go middle with rifles, along with bogart sniping and some backally action from mission with a 3rd rifle. Pandemic will be sporting a very strong mid team, sending Bewton, ShiftyPowers and Money-B in that direction, but that won't be nearly enough to take down ENErvate. These 2 snipers are both very solid, so it will be very fun to watch what happens in middle with the snipers. I personally think Money-B has the edge on bogart, but that means nothing when vasily and ace are also going middle. Bunker will also be heavily favored for ENErvate, who will be sending pie and 40updaterate against batman and rgv. Pie and 40UDR are a solid mixture of passive/aggressive play, and will be controlling bunker most of the half. On lan this would be a very close game, but online Pandemic doesnt have much of a shot. Watch for middle to be all ENErvate, while Pandemic puts up a fight in the bunker.

This is easily the match of the week. Normally i'd say it was somewhat even, but i don't think PK can hang with coL on this map. coL will be sending dorito and kellen middle both halves, and the PK rifles will not be able to handle them at all. Also, PK has just lost e-machine, their best player in my opinion, so that will really hurt them at middle. I have heard they will be replacing him with strifetoe for CPL, but he wont be playing in this CAL match. Chaos and cypher will be giving this mid rifle team some support near the backally area, but i don't think they'll need very much help. PK's only chance at middle will be Nick Patten having a great game. I'm pretty sure cableguy will also be going middle with a bar and stg/unter, so that backally fight between him and chaos will be something to watch. In bunker we'll have wedo and habib going up against fusion and ProFiction, which fall into compLexity's favor by a small margin. Wedo knows how to get down and dirty, as does ProFiction, so i think it will be hilarious to watch these bunker fights. In the end, i think coL's high powerd rifle team will dominate the middle, with support from the bunker team at middle ally. If PK can hold bunker most of the time, they might trade off a few mid caps, but i don't see them winning this vs. compLexity.

O SNAP, MOTW!! Ok, I'm going to admit I have a bit of a fetish for PK. If they were all 4 years older and more composed they would most likely be the best team (imo). However they are young and as "experienced" as they may be they lack the maturity that comes with age. That will be their major obstacle as coL has plenty of composure in-game so if anyone is going to cap, coL will be the ones to do it. Chaos will be the most annoying human being on the planet (I know a huge stretch for him) and will be camping all over middle (and by all over I mean crack building) with a bar ready to sprint out and cROG PK if they ever make it past Fusion/Dorito/Kellen. If PK wants to win this they will have to shut down coL's rifles and take care of Chaos in middle. Patten then should be able to clear cypher out of middle but this is all provided the rest of PK gives him the room to work some of that iowa magic. Ima go out on a limb here and give it PK ina squeeker.

I don't believe either team is competing for the playoffs in this match, but they should be trying nonetheless as CPL is less than a month away. Matchup wise x6 should have this in the bag as it is donner after all and Netherhell snipes donner like a champ, I'd like conformation he didn't create this map himself for his own style years ago. Also in the middle will be two of the greatest rifles in DoD in ninjuh and Darkbrownrabbi. Needless to say x6 will probably have middle almost the entire team. Bunker should be, as always, the place nobody in hltv will be watchingl; though it could be a little interesting as neither team has a habib or wedo in there. Unless ron is too into proevosoccer and i get blake and max into some dota game at 6 o'clock Wednesday this match should be handily to check six.

THEY BUTTNEKKID!!! But really, x6 is hardly new to male
nudity so I expect that they wont be phased by seeing the bare behinds
of the BnG crew. As nice of a rear as Ben has it's just not gonna be
enough to distract x6 enough to let them slip in a cap. Maybe if BnG
makes a last minute pickup of e`man to boost their hotness rating,
however I expect this to be a domination by x6 pretty much all around.

dicE
vs.
GIMP

dicE has been struggling lately, with some activity issues and losing one of their stronger players in L7NX, but i think they should play well enough to beat GIMP here. GIMP has also just recently lost Ham? and scangus to the newly formed tap cpl team, so that will hurt them a lot. Going bunker will be Disturbed and Heineken for GIMP, and shotgunbill and tenks for dicE. These are 4 players that love to prone, so once again this should be a funny looking bunker fight. I'd go with dicE in this one, though, mainly due to shotgunbill being one of the top heavies in invite. In middle for team dicE is going to be maingoes with a kar/garand, DyeL!fe with a kar/garand, royAMAZING with a sniper rifle and shotgunderek with a stoss/garand. Depending on wether or not Ham? and scangus play out the season with GIMP, we'll probably see both of them going there along with russian the sniper. Russian vs. royAMAZING in the middle will be something to watch, as will the rifle fights. I'd say dicE has a slightly better sniper in rA, but dicE's rifles will dominate the middle area. DyeL!fe will find his way to the suze and kill wave after wave. Watch for DyeL!fe to have a big game for dicE, and russian to have a solid game for GIMP.

I love GIMP, I really do. They are probably the coolest
clan in invite along with BnG, revamped, and n2p. Ok n2p isnt that cool,
but since part of being cool means possibly not making playoffs I
figured I'd toss em in anyway. I'd predict for GIMP but as well all know
dicE promised me rice and steak at CPL to cast their matches and predict
in favor of them whenever possible.

This looks to be a somewhat easy match for n2p, playing against a struggling revamped team. Middle will be tough for revamped to take/hold due to having a weak sniper, but revamped's rifles matchup to the n2p rifles very well. I'd say if revamped can get a strong game out of phnx, they can control the middle for a lot of the game. Dane will be going bunker, not sure with who, but he is a very smart player and does what he has to play his spot well. He will be proned all over the bunker area and will probably be controling it most of the time, at least on allies. This will be a great help to the reVamped mid team. DrewkroDleman and ender will be no easy team to beat, though, so e`man better put on his thinking cap and play a lot smarter than normal to help out dane at the bunker. Going middle for n2p will probably be gorilla hero and their sniper eXt, and for reVamped it will be scat, ko, phnx and bert. As i said befor, phnx will need to put up a strong performance against eXt and not let him sit in the loft for 5+ minutes at a time. I think reVamped will struggle to capture the middle, but once they have it, smart play from ko and dane will ensure that they keep it. In the end, i think n2p will take this in a close one, lead by eXt in the middle with his sniper rifle. Ko at middle and dane at bunker will be the ones keeping it close, though.

[insert long somewhat funny comment where I poke fun at n2p and make vaguely gay references to e`man while acknowledging that I dislike dane] In actuality, revamped has had 2 relatively close matches the last 2 weeks vs ENE and coL, so they should win this with dane (grrr, angry face) and e`man leading the way with the heavies. Scat will drop bombs on rifle and bikeage will cheer from the sidelines in that cute skirt hb gave him several seasons ago.
