Robert “Sp0rk” Hull sits down with Monster Gaming’s Sean Fugh and NoGo’s Shane Thrasher to discuss the lineup for week 7 of CAL Main on a community favorite map, Railroad2 Robert: The fellows from skull gaming have added Sean “buzzbee” Kennedy to their roster as well as legally putting Alex “surge” Lathrop on their so hopefully they will have 6 for a match that they really won’t have a problem dominating. Experience is the word here, with a team of proven LAN players, watch for apartments to be on total lockdown with whomever they decide to send, and Loki really doesn’t stand too much of a chance against Steve Hisey, because his rifles won’t be able to hold mid, and he’ll be getting shot from 3+ different places. Legion will need good communication if they don’t want to get rolled or cap and hold mid for that matter. Players to watch: buzzbee, Hisey, scrd Skull > Legion 250-25 Sean: If skull plays lowcarb they lose, simple enough. I know Skull has had a lot of roster issues. Even with 5 people in the game I would rather play with 4 than having lowcarb anywhere near the server. That kid is just downright awful. If he does in fact play, Legion should exploit wherever he goes because he will be the easiest one to take down. Looking at skulls new pickups, I would say that’s the only chances of legion coming anywhere near a victory. Skulls strongest aspect is their rifle team, as long as fallenpotter and illusion aren’t cheating blatantly (chances are slim) then skull will have control of middle the whole half, both sides. The only chance Legion has to win is getting control of apts and never leaving. I mean you can see through walls, just nade balcony and they can’t get in, idiots. Players to watch: scrd?, Riveroyster, buzzbee - Only reason to look at a LGN player is to attempt to catch them cheating. Skull > Legion 70+ Online Thunder vs. That’s a Paddlin’ Robert: After last week’s match against LATELATELATE, Online Thunder seems to be blaming each other for the loss, when they played simply a better team. This week will hopefully prove to be closer, just because TAP also lost to LATE. After watch Alan Williams frag through more walls than most teams have on their screens, I think he should keep Nick Patten under careful surveillance on this map, but I don’t know if that’s going to help as vasily will be flanking from connector and 4 way all match. Ham’s stoss should provide adequate trouble as well, so train will be thorn in thunder’s side. Hopefully the captain of the blatant squad and Tony Compton will be able to hold down long and part of mid enough so TAP won’t have mid too much, but something tells me Mission will be popping out of double windows and lower apts far too often. Players to watch: Alan Williams, Vasily, Tox, Mission Online Thunder < TAP 150-70 Sean: Everyone has always considered this "Team Vasily". Its semi-true but lets be honest. Madison can single handedly win a match where the heavys can basically control mid from apartments. Tap definitely has the experience and the know-how, but I just don’t think they care enough. They scrim once, maybe twice then they play. They might practice for thunder, seeing as they are one of the only good teams in cal-m, but the chances are slim. I think that if thunder is able to contain Vasily and Maddison that they can definitely pull out a win. Then again, that’s a lot easier to say than actually doing it. I'd say this is easily the motw, considering these are 2 powerhouse teams. Players to watch: Vasily, Mission - Compton, Toxinator Online Thunder < TAP 50+ |
