X-Spider's Prediction: GLHFMB!!
Links is very intense in MatchComm.
P3Rpetual's Prediction: -|Ea|- by 30
With X-Spider and sTarK at the heavies controlling the broken bridge, Deg and Candyman rifling the double-cap bridge, Avail as the third rifle, and triaL sniping, what's not to like about Ea's chances of winning this matchup? Now, I'm not too fimiliar with nwp's players (someone correct me if im wrong...), but I believe Ea will edge this one close to a cap.

X-Spider's Prediction: [K-2] (305 - 284)
Both of these teams did not have a tough time against their opponents during the first preseason week of the season. As we can all see, Furious Quebecers have players from, well. . .Quebec. At the other side of the border, we see K-2 Warcrew trying to prove to everyone that they are a team not to be underestimated. When Canadians play DoD, they usually mean serious business. I feel this will be a very close match, and K-2 will edge out the win this week.
P3Rpetual's Prediction: [K-2] by 20
Warcrew FTW! I was able to play with these guys and they are a good bunch to hang around with. Good team work as well as frag and cap abilities, which will be key to this week's victory.

X-Spider's Prediction: Funbox (453 - 361)
Funbox comes in this week suffering a tough loss against -|Ea|- this past weekend after beating a highly-favored Promagix team during the first week of Preseason. Team five.0 comes in comfortably after beating a CAL Open CS team. Of course, the edge that Funbox has this week is making five.0 feeling uncomfortable playing against Brazilians. I was able to play this Funbox team, and there really is nothing special about them. Playing them on dod_merderet, their only good player that I can recall is Bloodao. Since dod_saints is a long-bridged map, five.0 is going to have to work harder than ever to prove that they are a upper CAL-O team this season. Sad to say, but I think Funbox will take this match in the end, high-pings aside.
P3Rpetual's Prediction: five.0 by 40
This should be an exciting matchup. Both teams coming off of a smothering win on Anzio, I believe this matchup will be controlled over at the broken bridge, so I hope both teams' heavies are ready for this rough battle. While the central bridge is important to hold for scoring, this map is about flanking, which I am sure both teams will be attempting constantly. As long as both teams are attentive, these flanks will not be too effective. I will give this match to 5.0 edging Funbox as based on what little I know about their roster (which is slim to none), which makes my knowledge even less about Funbox.
vs.
X-Spider's Prediction: Remix (364 - 347)
Both of these teams come from a common "sponsor," known to some as OMG gaming. Remix comes in this week with something to prove against their old sister clan with their most recent pickups this season. Incredibly Sexy Llama Brigade will more than likely enter their match this Thursday with most of the proFound lineup from last season. I see Rage pumping up his team this week with his sexy 8-year-old voice, which is inspirational to all. On the other hand, Remix's acquisitions, most notably poizoned, will be too tough to handle this season. Both teams have decent lineups, but I think Remix will show everyone this week that they are a CAL-O powerhouse to not be underestimated.
P3Rpetual's Prediction: Remix by 80
I interviewed kraut from that ever-so-sexy group of llamas and this is what he had to say:
"We are going into this match not really knowing what to expect from Remix. Don't get me wrong, they have a solid roster, but who knows how this thing will turn out. They have a better chance at taking the win considering we have not practiced much as a team and are still determining our starters."
Unfortunately, I will have to agree with him on this one. Although they have a decent roster, lack of team work can destroy you on this map. A collaboration between broken bridge and water, or even a push from flag bridge with cover from matress hall could make or break you, depending on who the more aggressive team is. You can expect to see Rage and Hildebrand rifling, kraut thirding, aphex twin and sloth heaving, and finally panDe sniping. panDe is a solid sniper, so I wouldn't be surprised if he took over this match and turned it around for his team bringing the lead close, or even help to edge Remix. "Kraut: gl/hf"

X-Spider's Prediction: dgf (324 - 311)
dgf comes in after a tough loss to K-2 Warcrew. The way I see it: their recent loss of a couple players has really affected the way this team works. From now on, they will be scrimming more than ever to build up a new successful style of play. Mofozombies really surprised me last week as they destroyed the CAL Mainvite DoD:Source team. This just shows where real skill comes from ;) mtp was barely able to pull their roster together this season, so I do sense some shakiness this week for them. I expect to see dgf's bullgooselooney holding off the bridge very well. While he performs against a tough Dark_Phantom at main bridge, I'd like to see P3Rpetual and veteran _____ CrazyMetalHead work the broken bridge. Assisting bullgoose would be my boy CrooklyN while jaz keeps an eye on the water. Both teams are working on their teamwork this week, so I think it will be close, and dgf will edge out the win this week.
P3Rpetual's Prediction: GLHF!
vs.
X-Spider's Prediction: g4n (421 - 377)
After many attempts at creating a simple CAL-Open team, schmaltz has finally been able to create team Flawless. It looks like this team has some decent CAL-O talent under the leadership of possibly the most hated player by our DoD community. They will be facing off a strong Good 4 Nothing team, who are coming from a very upsetting four-point loss against Remix. I don't think they want that to happen again, so I see an improvement in this week's lineup. g4n.Till will battle it out at the bridge against AllGunsBlazing at the main bridge. A powerful ShotgunBill will be aided by b- at the broken bridge, and should be no problem controlling it. While silens and 1blzd aid AGB at bridge, sTeW will be working the water throughout the match. I don't see much talent in Flawless to match up to this g4n team, so I would expect this match to be a blowout.
P3Rpetual's Prediction: Indecisive
After reading up on Flawless, I have come to learn they are creating a game kinda like the original Zelda... Dedication will help this team. I don't have much to say on this match other than GLHF to both teams - this could go either way.
