CAL Open Season 18 // Week 1 // Railroad2_b2
vs.
X-Spider's Prediction: GLHFMB!!
We play you guys tonight AND on Sunday. I look forward to these matches :)
P3Rpetual's Prediction: -|Ea|- by 100
Coming off of a good preseason, Elite Assassins will be looking to keep their good name against Ivan, Funky and Sporky. I don't know about you guys but i think this one is going Ea's way.
vs.
X-Spider's Prediction: nwP (208 - 175)
This is the Match of the Week. We've got two teams who are going to give everyone in CAL Open a tough time this season. I had the privilege of playing both of these teams, and they are both pretty well balanced. nwP had Spork and Audio all over the place against us on Saints, so I don't see why these guys will not step it up against Chris, who was the only player that stuck out for me against Skull in Saints. I think nwP's Meowa will easily contain the apartments against Throwdown and Grimace. In the end, I see nwP with the better teamwork, taking them to a 1-0 start this season.
P3Rpetual's Prediction: nwP by 80
After playing hard, but falling short to Ea last week, nwP will go up against Skull, who also got pumelled by Ea during PreWeek 1. I look forward to this one to see who will come out on top. With Chris joining Skull this season after a move from dgf, we will be watching to see as to how well they will mesh to get this season underway with a win. With Grimace also making the move from dgf, I'm not sure exactly how this team will do this season.
vs.
X-Spider's Prediction: noReg (187 - 164)
We have the battle of the pub clans (187th vs. K-2). I've got to say that I am very impressed with Bullet's sniping performance. He will not sit in the loft the entire match like he used to. Expect him to be all over the place (he picked that up from me :o ). Undeez has his ticket route down pretty well, and whoAmazing will be found helping out at apartments a lot. Warcrew should have just about the same style of gameplay as noReg, so I would expect this match to be very close, but just may have to give it to noReg with their recent pick-up of Sp|noVa aka MadMartag|n.
P3Rpetual's Prediction: Undecided
This should be a good match. Both teams will be coming in very determined in this one. I have had the chance to play with Warcrew more-so than No Regard. There is no decision from me due to lack of knowledge about either team :( Anyway, GLHF to both teams.
This is going to be another good match up for the season opener. Both teams are not too well known from my standpoint, but I can say that there are a couple players from each team that will make the difference in this match. mofozombiez' Dark_Phantom and f3nder will be putting up some numbers at the fountain. Blatant Frenchies will probably have a slighter edge due to their Canadian style of play. Most of these guys may resemble the old 22e team, but may not be as good as for what they were known for back then. I give this win to BF by a handful.
P3Rpetual's Prediction: Blatant Frenchies by 100
Blatant Frenchies are going to be my pick. I don't know if mofozombies will have what it takes to take on these DoD canadian monsters...
vs.
X-Spider's Prediction: dgf (186 - 111)
I feel that this redesigned dgf team has been practicing more than ever to be able to work together as if no changes have been made. I don't think their losses to Skull's roster will have much of an impact from now on. On the other hand, five.0 had high hopes of getting moved up to CAL Main, but the Brazilian FunBox decided to steal the opportunity. dgf's bullgooselooney will be all over the lofts holding the fountain whenever possible. CrazyMetalHead is an expert at the apartments, so I see him breezing throughout the match. CrooklyN is going to be the powerhouse for this match. I don't think 5.0 will have an easy CAL Open season like they expected to. I see dgf taking this by quite a bit.
P3Rpetual's Prediction: GLHF!
vs.
X-Spider's Prediction: Flawless (200 - 190)
We have two teams who just formed this season and are trying to make themselves known in this CAL Open division. Flawless has been working on compiling a final roster to lead them throughout the season. With Class is an Argentinian team trying to prove that they are better than Brazilians. I expect a lot of raging from Flawless due to the ping difference for this match. Greetz and AllGunsBlazing are going to have to work a double shift tonight knowing that their shots will not register as they should. Broomhelga will have to play ultra lame if he wants to dominate the railcar, but has to watch for the sneak attacks from Ticket Booth. schmaltz has been keeping low from the community lately, so maybe he put this secret time of his in improving his game in the apartments. This match will be too close, but I think Flawless will edge out the win.
P3Rpetual's Prediction: Flawless by 40
This should be a close one - Flawless FTW! I haven't had a chance to really play with either team but with recent knowledge of rosters and recent matches I think Flawless will edge out With Class this week.
