Matt: Well a couple of weeks ago I would of said TA would have this one down, but ReMix seem to have somehow got Joey Harter on board so he will no doubt be dropping bombs, and i dont expect to see him trying to pull cpl ninjas he should go all out on a frag-fest and with ex-euro cheaterface himself Crick heading the rifles for remix, I really dont see TA standing much of chance, of course look for my homeboy Mensen to drop some high numbers while the rest of his team dies around him, and while gooch just camps corners at his second flag for the whole match. Can’t see remix having too much trouble, but if TA can get a good start they may be able to rack up a few points. Bunker I hear some Mark guy from remix is quite the beast so I’m guessing he should make light work of corpse and chronic. Remix will be looking to continue the trend of making light work of substandard and finish off TA.

 

 

Jeff: Remix has joey and TA has a bunch of people no ones ever heard of. This is indeed a tough one... O wait. Remix recently defeated a slightly less washed up substandard (Is that a valid claim?) and TA beat bye who Im assuming was skull or something. Long story short Remix is going to violate TA's anal passage with a vicious intensity that has not been seen since the last time chicagolegend was left alone in a room with anyone who pings above 150.

 

 

Ryan: Here we have a faceoff of 2 lower tier cal main teams who will both be carried by key players from both sides. The key players on the TA team consist of mensen who is the best rifle right now, and gooch who is a pretty good sniper, both these guys will work to hold off the middle which we know from donnertH is the most important spot on the map. Remix will throw in joey harter, being on salary from mr. klimas, to counteract the jesusness of mensen who is infact Jesus. Over all this match will consist of what 2 players will be better off at holding mid for the team and that’s all that matters.

 

 

Kyle: This matchup brings TA, sporting a 1-3 record, coming off of an impressive win against BYE against a ReMiX team which has started slowly this season. On snipers we will have TA’s Gooch, who is a pretty good sniper going up against Rampage. I see this as an even matchup, but middle will come down to the rifles. It will be up to mensen (aka Jesus Christ) to try and hold Joey “sevEN” Harter in middle. I don’t see this happening as Mr. Harter will frag everything he sees. Bunker will come down to whichever team’s uniforms are dirtier. ReMiX takes this fairly easily.

 

 

 

Matt: g4n have made a smart move in picking up Bill and Derek and the roster is further revamped with jericho and odm this week, so till the one weak link G4N might have an easy ride at middle with the help of these superstars. But then again it’s substandard who I’m still surprised to see managed to beat the beastly team that is hoax, the only person I half rate from substandard is ender so I’m sure he will be looking to make all the push’s while scora spends 40 minutes running from spawn to his second flag over and over again. Odm and Derek should make light work of the substandard rifles at middle providing till can pick off the odd few, bunker Jericho seemed a smart player when I played irwar on anzio at start of season so I guess he will do all the leg work while shotgun bill demolishes whatever awful’s are heaving for substandard.

 

 

Jeff: This should turn out to be a good match if substandard can get some scrims in. I know g4n will come ready and with recent roster changes they are starting to look like a team that will be a force in main by the end of the season. If substandard goes unpracticed into this match I dont see scora/ender being able to hold for long before the team crumbles. The sniper battle will go to till making it very hard for subs rifles to get anything going but Im sure they will get a few nice streaks.

 

 

Ryan: This interesting match we see G4N newly revamped roster adding three allstars from cal I to give this younger looking lineup of G4N some real class. We will see shotgunderek and odm helping out Till(sniper) and bromley(third) to lock down mid for the team, with the help of these two veterans to the game I see them picking up the slack of till on middle. They will be facing off against pujay, ender, scora, and loser, in middle. Ender is the only true star out of the others mentioned going middle and will have to be on top of his game to handle what G4N is bringing Thursday night. Bunker (doesn’t really matter since there is no flag and you can just send 5 middle like dth did to beat 0|k) will be a fierce battle of lead by shotgunbill of g4n who will dominate whatever sub tries to send and hold it off for the match. Overall g4n’s new roster looks like that of an upper cal main team and shouldn’t have a problem vs substandard.

 

 

Kyle: This is a matchup between two 2-2 teams looking to further advance their chances at a playoff berth. For g4n we will see Till with his hair and energy water going up against pujay for substandard on the scoped weapons. This will not be where the majority of the action will be this match. G4n’s rifles of shotgunderek and odm will pick up the slack from Till with assistance from bromley on third. Substandard will have ender and scora on the rifles with loser on third. G4n’s rifle’s skill and experience will give substandard a lot of problems in middle. The bunker should be easy for g4n’s shotgunbill and jerico as they go up against goats and thatsright from substandard.

Jeff: Commando is a very solid sniper, expect him to spend most of time holding suze on axis and mid on allies allowing osk's rifles to push onto nihilist's second over and over. I hear scream is amazing but this is donner and if hes going bunker all the skill in the world wont save you from pulling out hair against a smart/slow team. Its a bit of a shame this match had to happen on donner, these two meeting on rr2 would great. I give the rifle and sniper battle osk but the heavy battle to nihilist if they keep it smart.

 

 

Ryan: Another exciting match we have here, even if it is donner. Both these teams have only one lost this season and both were to penos. On paper these two teams are very close, and I believe in the match it will be the same. Both these teams have had a pretty steady roster for the past few seasons which will come in handy on this strategy demanding map(donnertH strategy was amazing btw). O-5k will bring the amazing euro turtz(chic idol)along with stu and commando to middle to face off against teamowner, flame, phibian, and bawno(only have heard of teamownerr..). Osk will have the advantage in middle hands down as command is solid and stu, well is online, and nihilist has a new group of rifles from usually which I don’t know how well they will work. But no of this really matters as ScreaM will take care of everything as he is the best heavy ever. See scream to frag everyone bunker then flank mid, making it easier for the mid team of nihilist. If osk can hold down scream then their rifles will have what it takes to hold mid and win the match, that’s the only way.

 

Kyle: Another great matchup this week. Nihilist has been around forever, and oldsKool has been playing with each other for several seasons now. The sniper battle will bring osk’s Commando going up against pibain for nihilist. This will be a pretty even matchup. The rifles for osk will consist of turtz, and una with stew on 3rd going up against teamowner, flame and bawno for nihilist. Osk should have the edge here, especially with turtz and stew, but teamowner may give them problems. Bunker will be owned by NihilisT this match because scream is flawless, and if he dies, ep0xy will be prone behind them. Osk’s zuq and chicagolegend will try and put up a good fight. Look for scream to be at osk’s second flag the entire match, helping open up the middle for their rifles. Close match here, but NihilisT pulls out the win.

Matt: Probably worse match of the week, pumpfake is the only team with names I recognise some America kid that jumps literally everywhere even when he is shooting, always a funny fella, and some truke and mobstar sound familiar, so

on that basis they can have the win.

 

 

Jeff: K now we hit the teams I have absolutely no knowledge of so prepare for some bs. Sporks little roster file didnt have either teams starters so now Im really in trouble. Im going to say that... sweet baby jesus main is a joke...

 

Ryan: The newbies of CAL Main. This match is between 2 move ups to cal main who both felt how main really is by losing their first matches. The good thing about this match one team will walk away with their first win in main, the downfall is no one will be watching them do it. TD scrims all the time late at night, and the alex surge guy likes to talk about them so I’m going to give them the advantage, Pumpfake is the old Fatalsix team who wasn’t that good back then so I don’t see them being better now. TD has darkphantom and he played with the monster dbags so they will win.

 

Kyle: Who? Don’t really know a lot about these teams, looks like they are both recent moveups. I only recognize a few players on each team. Look for some good frags from america and scurvy from pumpfake, and drak_phantom from twisted dimensions. I’m gonna give this match to Twisted Dimensions because they were godlike in a scrim.

Matt: Both teams 2-2, sweet are probably the most over-rated team in main in my opinion, no one on their team screams cal-m quality, stalin and whacked may be their saving grace, but this is donner and I can see Happy Lizards rifle squad of zono and lockdown pooping all over the awful that is reid. While the only battle worth mentioning in this match is between the snipers, I think thrasher should do enough to keep royemo or ponZi at bay, and w0k and advent should have a good battle with stalin and whacked. I don’t see any cap outs coming in this one, might be a bit of a stalemate.

 

 

Jeff: I expect the player known as whacked to be as good as he is attractive, very. Clearly he will be the player of the week vanquishing all foes with a single standing burst from his stg of ultimate randomness. In other news, sporks mom is a fox.

 

Ryan: Hmmm is pretty much what I got to say about both these teams. Both have gone through constant up and downs roster wise and lizard even gone through a whole team redo by taking monsters spot.. Sweet current roster(dropping jw, thank god) consist of Jbrown, reid and cinnastix on rifles, ponZi sniping, and jwhacked(amazing) and stalin(amazing.. at camping) heavying. HappyLizard new roster consist of Thrasher sniping, Lockdown(ex-IH, fellow predictor, knows the donnertH strat very well ;) ), Zono, Netro on rifles as well as w0k and advent heavying. With this being said, and I think this is the confirmed rosters for the reast of the seasons (to clear things up). Sweet team consist of strong fraggers wth Jbrown and whckd combined with smarter players in reid and stalin, aswell as being pretty active this week the team will come together well on this map. HappyLizard has zono, and some x monster players w0k and thrasher, along with the great lockdown and smart netro, this will cause for a great match, and a true showing of each of these teams new rosters. I say middle will be a great battle but taken by HL due to aggresiveskill, but for Sweet to dominate bunker with whckd. Middle is what matters.

Matt: The brazillians have a bit of a jesus sniper from what I remember on a Harrington scrim a few weeks back, but dth seem to be pretty solid this season danny and sharp should be solid, while platypus will rage about the Brazilians warping everywhere the whole match. No doubt rasta will prone it up like no-other and make the bunker one big bore. If dth can keep their cool with the unhittable Brazilians they should take this one quite easy.

 

 

Jeff: The year was 1943, the forces of zero kelvin were assaulting into the village of donner expecting little resistance. Little did they realize the forces of the elite proning unit dth had established a well fortified defense in depth network. The battle was a huge blow to the zeroK soldats and would forever change the mindset of any team entering this battlefield. Many years have passed and Ive learned two things. 1. Woman are sinister creatures from the depths of hell who will steal your soul and crush your dreams right before your very eyes and 2. dth is not to be underestimated on donner. On any real map I would predict against dth but I wont make that mistake on donner. Expect platy to get every one of his 10 kills while prone rifling.

Kyle: This week DonnerTH faces off against Fumbox Gaming, coming from the jungles of the Amazon in Brazil. Seeing as DonnerTH defeated the heavily favored Zero Kelvin team on Donner several seasons ago, it doesn’t really matter who funbox brings to this match. But anyway, DonnerTH will have caf poop on bloodmaster on the scoped weapons. DonnerTH will have the Frenchy Sharp teams with danny on rifles with Ryan “platypus” Hodgson to frag hard with his unter. It will be up to combatente from funbox to try and hold them back. DonnerTH will bring the other Frenchy, Cigar with Rastaman. They will roll Funbox’s heavies and control bunker the entire match. I’m giving this match to DonnerTH because this is their map and Funbox is not very good.

Matt: Tony’s prays are answered, G.I alongside penos have probably the best roster in main right now, and hoAx for some reason are in main and aren’t having the most fun. Well where to start on this match just look for tony, tweak, and slaughter killing everything at middle, while russ might get a bit bored with sniper on this one, or just sit in suze and drop 50’s without trying, while kevo hides for 40 minutes. Sik and trickstuf once in bunker will have fun pushing if the rifles haven’t even capped out. hoAx have reflex on rifle who actually isn’t too bad and dullimus can also shoot but this is a big ask with the G.I rifles at mid. Easy win for G.I.

 

 

Jeff: without slaughter to crouch walk circles in upper tank house becoming so zoned out that he doesnt notice 38th capping middle I dont know what GI will do (prone rifles won you that match and I hate you for it.) Anyways, this will be the biggest campfest of the week. Hoax is getting good at preventing teams from blowing them out at the cost of forgetting how to push. GI will have control over the middle for the entire match and will probably get a few cap outs on allies but the majority of the match will be an attack and retaliation over hoax's second flag. Expect compton to top frag and sik to find places no one knew existed and shoot many people from them.

 

 

Ryan: Russ is back, gi by 300, gg. Really though with russ coming back GI should be back on page to be one of the top teams in main. They have gone through roster problems aswell as not pulling through in matches but with the knowledge of tony and wiliam(knowing the true workings of donner from dth days) and the fragging of nickstuff and russ I don’t see GI having any problems from the newer players of hoax. This match should boost GI confidence and pull them out of the hole they have been in through the start of this season. GI will bring tony tweak slaughter and russ to middle to face off against kevo, dullumis, reflex and blaine of hoax. They will overrun them with ease in mid as well as in bunker with sik and trickstuff(great team work) going up against infil and vapes. Hoax will have another tough week and will fall to 0 - 5.

 

 

Kyle: This matchup brings a very skilled GI team against hoAx that has started 0-4. We have russ` for GI going against kevo from hoax. Russ` a grand sniper and will handle kevo easily. GI will have Tony Compton running around fragging everyone in middle with tweak and slaughter to offer support. It will be up to Dullumis to try and hold them off for hoax. It will be very difficult for him, and I don’t think he will be able to stop them. Bunker has William “sik” Blackwell and trickstuf going against infil and vapes. William will frag everyone and control bunker the entire match. GI has this easily.

Matt: Penos the only unbeaten team in main right now, and I sure as hell can’t see that changing this week. Also with a very changed roster from the start of the season, with sexual mayo and polak starting on rifles and bewton on heavy, I’m pretty sure this match is already over. I hear blake is sniping so that could go either way against Dekin but I doubt it as he has always been awful, as is nugz whenever I’ve played them. However the only saving grace for flatout will most probably be stick and fenom as they can shoot back and should provide some offense, but after bewton and trainman or zoltan have pooped on justin and dustin it will be all over. Can only see this match going one way, especially with the high-calibre penos rifle squad at middle.

 

 

Jeff: So here we are, it seems flatout took the constant flaming to heart and has become a solid force in main. I havent seen anyone from penos scrim in awhile so Im going for the upset this week. I love the guys at penos but flatout is going to come into this match a fair bit more polished. Im sure polak will spend the better part of axis in suze getting 50 kill streaks in a matter of seconds but will it be enough? Flatout's strength definitely doesnt come from their ability to out shoot, it comes from coordination and chemistry. This will be a match of very raw aim versus refined teamwork.

 

 

Ryan: This right here is the MOTW for donner. Penos is right now the best team in main on paper and with bewton and polak helping out with the old handicap roster I see them staying up there the rest of the season. FlatOut has had a pretty easy season so far but their slow holding play style, donner is the map for them to be able to put up a good match vs penos. Flatout will throw dekin(will camp mid from lofts constantly) fenom, nugz and stick(watch from him to get into suze and dominate like he once did vs 0|k) to try to handle the superb rifles of penos, seen through polak, sexualmayo, and lukedilliard, backed by wehman snipering. I give the upper hand to penos in middle though just slightly as the slow playing flatout might be able to counteract the explosive rifle of polak. Bunker will be held off by bewton of penos with his smart steady playstyle and expert nades, backed by trainman, should handle the randomness of justin and badness of dustin. If the map wasn’t donner penos would dominate but to the structure of this map look for flatout to counteract penos’s talent with slow playing and keep this match interesting(points wise, not to watch..).

 

Kyle: MOTW here folks. Penos brings to the table a great combination of skill and cuteness, while flatout brings a cal-main ring and some super cool cheats to this match. If this were a scrim, I’d take flatout without question, but, this is a match anything can happen! On snipers we have Blake Wehman going up against dekin. With dekin’s inability to do anything in matches, I’m going to say Blake will handle him pretty easily. Helping out Blake in middle for Penos will be Polak, Sexualmayo with Luke Dilliard’s belt loops on 3rd rifle. Flatout will counter will Dennis “Stick” Del Bando, nugz, and fenom. Dennis will have to try his best to hold back Penos rifle team. Bunker will have Dustin and Justin from flatout going against trainman and Brandon “bewton” Newton. This will be a hot battle and will come down to which team can out gay the other. I constantly see flatout looking for scrims, and penos not so much. I think flatout’s teamwork will keep it close, but penos will come out with a very close victory.
