CAL Open Season 18 // Week 6 // Harrington

vs.
X-Spider's Prediction: GLHFMB!!
Good luck, have fun! :]
GodlessCommie's Prediction: -|Ea|- by 100+
This is a good match up for the week, but I see it going bad for Profound, seeing that they have the advantage in rifles and in sniper. The key for Prfnd here is for Rage to be on, and their heavies to keep mountain on lock down if both these things done happen I see this as being a blowout! Watch for Mex to dominate mid, and for candy and watch to be pushing long very hard. If Profound’s heavies dominate and Rage is on then this could be a win for profound.
Players to watch: Mex, Rage, Candy

vs.
X-Spider's Prediction: Ninjas with Puppies (249 - 236)
I think this is going to be a pretty close match-up. Every time I play noREG on Harrington, they tend to try out different positions, which is good for them when trying to figure out a strong strategy and line-up. As we all know, BulletSlinger will be sniping the middle, and you can usually find him at the stairs as Axis (likes to hug the tree behind him), or double doors as Allies. If you let his team run down the middle, he will immediately set up the tent at the mid house, so be on your guard Schmiggs! I think the heavy battle will be strongly in favor of nwP. The rifle match-up is what is going to decide the outcome of this match. You have Sp|noVa and whoAmazing facing up against Audio and iCrater. This match will be too close in the end, but nwP takes it by a few.
GodlessCommie's Prediction: No Regard by about 40
Both teams coming off of an important win to make them above .500, I see this being a very close fought battle to the end! The key being the middle where I see it being a dead even match up between these two snipers and utilities. The difference will be on the sides, which Nwp heavies have an serious advantage on mountain. However, if Sandoval plays NoReg has a major advantage at long. I comes down to which team can exploit their strengths more so and negate their weaknesses! With NoReg’s impressive win last week over the red brigade I see this going in their favor.
Players to watch: Sandoval, audio, meowa

vs.
X-Spider's Prediction: Skull Gaming (342 - 288)
Triforce is coming off a tough loss against an Experienced (no pun intended. . .) team. Their match overturn is what probably guaranteed this match up by the auto-scheduler. Triforce has a good team, where at least half their lineup is pretty good, but they are mainly in it just to have fun (unless DoD is serious business to them now??). There is only one player in Skull that I see making a difference all-around: Chris. This rifle will make life hell for oot` at the middle and mountain area, all depending on who is holding the middle flag. I'd hope to see liah- playing aggresive at the mountain, while coalmineR attempts to snipe at the mid house. Skull will take this by quite a few, but this match can go either way easily if one team loses consistency.
GodlessCommie's Prediction: Skull Gaming by at least 60
This is the MOTW, with 2 top teams facing off this 1 will be down to the wire! It will be an intense battle for the middle between Forz and his utility vs Coalminer and their utility, but Skull gaming has the upper hand here, especially if they are sending link to the mid with coalminer. Both heavy teams a decent with Triforce having the most dominate 1 Akiro, this looks to be a stalemate on mountain. The key and biggest battle will be on long, between the rifles of chris/partner vs Modify and Ganondorf. Chris can be a dominate player on long, but no team has been able to hold ganondorf yet with his quick strafing and accurate shots this will be the best match of the week.
Players to watch: Forz, Chris, Coalminer, Ganondorf, Akiro.

vs.
X-Spider's Prediction: K-2 (264 - 260)
This is probably going to be the slowest-played match in ALL of CAL this week. After clutching a win against K-2 Warcrew last week, I have never felt so violated. This team WILL resort to an MG. If you can take that away from them and use it against them, you will have them held down easily for a good 5 minutes minimum. The reason I say this is slow is because you have CrouchingMetalHead at the sewers and triple box area. The mountain area is going to be kept quiet by both teams that you will be able to hear a pin drop from just about anywhere. The battle at long and mid is what is going to determine the outcome of this match. CrooklyN and Miller will battle it at the middle, whom I think will be the key players for this match. Backing these two up will be K-2's blankclip and dgf's bullgooselooney. Both teams are evenly matched, but it is all going to come down to the wire in who plays the "lamest."
GodlessCommie's Prediction: GLHF
This is another great match up for the week, but teams now at 4-1 this is a must win for positioning for the upcoming playoffs. Dgf coming off an easy win looks to solidify themselves as a top 3 contender. Warcrew after a last second loss against EA, looks to rebound strong, they are pulling out all the stops for this match up! The match will come down to the middle with blankclip sniping vs Bullgoose, depending on whos running with bullgoose I give DGF the advantage. But long and mountain are a different story with K-2 having the advantage on both sides. This will be a fun and good match up!
Players to watch: Miller, Bnzr, Commie, Crazy, bullgoose.
