syncLine < Disturbing the Peace (80-90)
By Shane Thrasher

I've already predicted this match in the pred thread, so when I went to the cal site to predict this match again I saw 2 people on synclines roster that I know for a fact weren't there this morning. Still I don't think it will change my prediction for DtP to win by at least 2 caps. Before I continue I would like to also mention that DTP has an image on their cal page in the notes.

I visited the link. I am at work. I am not pleased. I hope you guys are happy.

I only know 3 people on syncline 1 pretty well and 2 not as well. 1blzd, dmtr, and scareface. 1B is going to be going mid with a sniper with dmtr on rifle(I think). Any other map I would give it to blzd, but as I can't show him anything good to do(I hate donner) he will have to go off his own skill without any help from me. Not to mention he is going against dustin young with a less than .1 sec reaction time(I've seen the movie cheater!). Then in bunker we have beast. So dtp by at least 2 caps.

Butt nekid Gamers > NihilisT 17+
By Eric Sears

bng is back? really? Anyway, I taught ben how to do bicep curls and how to drink protein shakes a few weeks ago, so I imagine his DoD play is at a level never before seen. With that in mind I have no idea who any of these people on Nihilist are, except cigar, who is a frenchie who played on one of my teams like a million years ago. Whats up Mathieu? Nihilist beat BYE 803-53, but my intuition tells me that BYE was probably not a good team, and this team that bng beat, is from Argentina, so that doesn't really give me a clear indication skill level when it comes to virtual internet warfare. I've been told this is probably the match of the week. I'm not exactly sure what that means, but whatever, should be fun to watch, we could be having sex with girls, so it could be worse I suppose. I'm guessing one of the teams will get really gay in bunker, which will make the other teams rifles go help, causing half of their team to die via nades in the middle, and when the other team tries to cap the rifles will run back and break, only to lose bunker again to gay people, and the process continues, classic donner. In the end, ben's bulging biceps and increased mental focus, courtesy of me, his online personal trainer, give bng the slight 17 point favorite in this match of the week showdown, laugh.

Happy Lizard Gaming > Shadow Gaming 20+
By Ryan “Kraut” Carlson

Shadow Gaming didn’t bother specifying a starting 6, but rather a starting 9, so I’m not going to mention too many names. The lizards will shed their scales and say their lizard prayers to prepare for the match, while Shadow Gaming will be watching old HLG match tapes and taking down pages of notes. Fortunately for GodlessCommie, he will probably be able to cook dinner to with his left hand as it only takes one hand to aim your prone-deployed bar. I hope Willeh and Aristo have mastered all of those nades into bunker because once Godless and Nein get into bunker they aren’t coming out without a fight. The powerhouse of HLG in this match will definitely be its rifles. Last week Meekrab shocked the world when he proved he can’t do it in scrims but he sure as hell can in matches. Zonozaur and Netro will be dominating poop56 and Dullumis at Tank, Netro seems pretty confident as he wrote “Shadow Gaming does not stand a chance against the greatest force that DoD has ever seen, netrolyxen.”. As far as the sniper battle, I think Shane will be fragging Forzaz with ease backed by such a strong middle team. Shadow Gaming is going into this match up heavily outweighed as far as skill. However, they possess a talent no other team in CAL-main has, the ability to come up with very clever and diverse strategies, and the ability to camp like a fat guy playing WoW in his mother’s basement (They don’t move). Though, on a map like Donner, camping is going to be the key to success. Whoever gets control of Tank initially each half is going to decide the outcome of this match, because I honestly don’t see any ninja caps happening. I’m going to give this one to the lizards by 20

ProFound > Time Travelers (< 50)
By Shane Thrasher

I don't like predicting time travelers as they always seem to think they know more than you just because they've already seen what happens. Kraut says I have to predict his match though so here I am. The TT's are busy time traveling so I have to guess what guns they are using. In my mind I see sik and tony going bunker vs kraut and kraut's heavy partner. Kraut is a very smart player and so is kraut's heavy partner, but sik and tony have been playing together off and on longer than britney spears had hair so I have to give bunker to them. For mid it's kraut's sniper and rifles vs danny, jordan, and the other 2 people going mid who are probably ex-cal-banned players aliasing. I for one don't think kraut's sniper and rifles could 4 v 2 danny and jordan so with the other players they should be able to take mid. All in all though I'm going to give it to profound because jordan isn't showing up and kraut said " we're gonna win, don't worry you can quote me on that." I would trust kraut with my liquored up virgin daughter (I wouldn't even trust myself with her), so I trust that he will pull his team to a win. Profound > TT by less than 50.

Supremacy > High Precision 69+
By Eric Sears

Huge dorks vs. some of the the most popular faces in DoD history, except that advent kid, he's annoying as shit. If [^p] actually has six they probably won't try very hard, but none the less are more naturally gifted than their socal emo rocking dorky bunch of opponents, who while sweating during pre-game strat sessions while chugging jolt cola and jacking themselves up to second rate homemade electronica, screaming "w00t, they really bring the mosh!", will none the less not be having sex with girls anytime soon. Alas, having sex with girls has hardly ever won anyone a DoD match, and supremacy will most likely win this one by 30 ish a half, mostly because it's donner, and they are much bigger dorks.

troubleshooters > dgf (40-50)
By Shane Thrasher

"If their cute heavies don't break their mouses going against jaz in bunker and bullgoose doesn't crouch pre-aim through wall un-crouch shoot crouch their entire team." Was my thread pred and I stand by it. With justin and cwalls going bunker they should be able to hold it. The trick is going to be getting into bunker. Having scrimmaged dgf A LOT I have secretly fed cwalls VITAL information about jaz's bunker play style. The information being she prones. If that insightful tip doesn't help him get bunker, I don't know what will. As for mid you will see nugz vs bullgoose. I've Never seen nugz snipe so I have to give this to bullgoose. Axis side for ts should be a problem as kaus and fenom should be able to keep bullgoose from dominating to much. Allies side for them is going to be a problem. If you can't pick the sniper out of loft on this map you are in some serious trouble. I think I went 34 and 4 last night(I like to talk about myself so sue me) by staying in loft, so dgf might be able to keep it close if bullgoose can get in loft. Then again predicting a donner match to be close is like predicting rain in seattle. In the end though, I am confident that ts will be able to get into mid and keep bullgoose out of loft long enough to cap and hold it. If they play REALLY passive on allies they should be able to rack up enough points in mid to win by 40-50. TS > DGF by 40-50.
