Day Of Defeat Source: CAL-M Season 4 Championships

By: Bryan Gregus - Published February 20, 2007 at 11:59 PM EST - Writer Archive
The CAL-Main Championship round is Finally Here!

The end of another season. When it comes down to this last week and all of the hype and preparation for the Championship match, it is always fun to look back on the season that has passed. Cal-Main Season 4, the first season that Main has not been the highest level of competition, has still shown the skill and talent of some of its teams. Unlike the past, this division was not plagued by an epidemic of forfeits this season. Competition was fierce and heavy for all the teams involved. Teams like Simulation One, StreamLine Gaming, Eximius, and the Mexicans had the kind of season that was expected. At the same time, teams such as One More Time, Living Legends, and Widow X really came out strong and earned a right to be called some of the best in the division. While Eximius has been the heavy favorite to win since it was created as OhNoes, the surprise of the season has easily come out of WidowX.
