So with only a couple of months left before the Texas Lan happens i have decided to make a short writeup so that people can understand exactly what is going on. Recently we have had a numerous amount of people pay. I am very glad that people are now stepping up to the plate to actually make payments and plan this thing out. With this said lets jump into more detail about what is going on.



Time/Dates
The Lan will begin on Saturday the 23rd of June. Registration time would start at 9am and matches would begin at 10am. Let me make this clear in bold lettering, IF YOU ARE NOT ON TIME FOR YOUR MATCHES IT WILL EFFECT YOUR TEAM, YOU WILL EITHER PLAY A MAN DOWN OR FF YOUR FIRST MATCH. Double elimination should take place late saturday night and all throughout Sunday June 24th. I would highly recommend that you spend the night in your hotel on Sunday because double elimination could take a lot longer then anticipated. If things run perfectly smooth we would not expect to end any later then 6 pm ct but in my experience with DoD LANS nothing ever ends at the time they are supposed to.

Hotel Stay

You can stay wherever you please but i would highly recommend the Embassy Suites Hotel. I have talked with the hotel management and have gotten a great discount for teams. If you care to do it by phone the number is 1-512-454-8004. Make sure to tell them this code when you make the reservation TEC. Below this line you will find instructions on how to reserve a room online.

B. Click on reservations
C. Go to checkin dates and make the dates the right one. I would recommend going from Friday night till Sunday night so checkin on 22nd and checkout on 25th.
D. click on the small link that says need to book multiple group reservations?
E. Type in the group code TEC, the dates should have carried over
F. From there you will type in all the info that is needed to reserve a room

I know doing it online is easier for sponsors but i would highly recommend doing this over the phone since they are a lot easier to make over the phone. Also the total price with tax for staying their from the 22-25th is 514. This is including tax but if you only stay there for two nights which means you check in on 23rd check out 24th you will only be paying for the one night stay which is about 170 with tax. BUT LIKE I SAID I WOULD RECOMMEND STAYING THERE THE FULL WEEKEND AT LEAST STAY THERE FRIDAY NIGHT AND YOU CAN CHECK OUT SUNDAY AFTERNOON IF YOUR FLIGHT LEAVES THEN.
