Day Of Defeat Source: Who Ya Got?

Frag Dominant
This is the team that everyone loves to hate. The team members of Frag Dominant definitely have a personality that many don't care for, but don't let their demeanor fool you. This team won Main last season and they can hang with the best of them. They've got a determination that is evident and they could go very far. Say what you want about each individual of this team, good or bad, they have talent and they have chemistry. Expect THE_ELITE and company to take down some of the more established invite teams this season, but they will have a lot of teams gunning for them. They will most likely be successful in the regular season, leading them to a difficult playoff schedule, and it will be interesting to see how this team stacks up with a team like Skull.
Imperfection
Imperfection (formerly known as Nothing To Prove) is a favorite underdog. The team can pull some amazing games against any opponent, and any one member, like Pat, can really push high frag numbers out of nowhere. iMp had some roster trouble during the off-season and it will be interesting to see how they have coped with that. Hopefully Joymonger, Ktek, and JustMike can provide some good turnouts this season, as this is probably one of the thickest-skinned teams in invite.
Mug N Mouse
Team Mug N Mouse is a team of comrades and that's what made them successful last season. Under the leadership of Pandemonium and backed by Bismal as a solid, experienced sniper, the team has the chemistry and friendship to keep them in the game. As a competitor, the team can pack a punch, but this team will most likely see this season with mixed results and an early finish in the playoffs. In all, the team has some good players and great personalities and is a solid standard in the invite division.
pure.Gaming
The ostrich-boys are back again this season after a 2nd place finish to compLexity in the invite finals. Between pure.Gaming and Skull there is technically no better team. The real question is if pure has lost its touch with the game, publicly stating their disappointment with the playoff results of last season. Hopefully this isn't true as they are another fan-favorite, having already established their legacy in the community in previous seasons. The team boasts the notorious Ch3$ter as their sniper and the seemingly out-of-nowhere rifles of Blooky and Toolbox, who in previous seasons met mixed success but have definitely put on their Nikes since Season 5. Expect pure to attempt to take it all the way. Again.
Skull Gaming
Skull saw a very disappointing end to an amazing undefeated regular season run in last season's semi-finals match against pure. After unfortunate circumstances that resulted in a Forfeit Loss to pure, Skull faced yet another sad end that really hurt each team member to the core. If Skull can mentally get over last season and put their minds again on this season, there is perhaps no stopping this team. Skull is an amazing team, unchanged since Season 3, and has basically taken down every major team at some point. Silverstar is hands down one of the best rifles in this game, and the heavy duo of Truth and Pratt always brings headaches to teams unprepared. It is difficult to find a major weakness in Skull, and that's the very reason why it is so difficult to beat this team. Skull is no doubt looking for vengeance this season and if they don't get their championship prize you can bet heads will roll.
Xcessive Gaming
Xcessive, previously known as Divide, has seen a loss this season with the departure of sniper Flint to Check-Six, but gained a sniper in Elmo after FueL's demise. But the team itself could still be in good shape. Their chemistry is top notch and they are able, and have been able, to hang with the big-boys. In fact, they are one of the big boys. On par with cyberXtreme, Xcessive has seen some impressive turnouts each season despite early finishes in the playoffs. If Baba, Rebirth, and impressive addition Wintocane, can still handle themselves without Flint, the team will continue to be one of the important 'teams-to-beat' for the lesser seasoned players. Expect them to put out their usual performance of an all-round good team. Well that wraps up the team outlook for the season. Good luck to all teams and make this season the best yet!
