Pandemic takes a piece of the DotA pie with their incorporation of Arrogant DotA Arseholes Team Pandemic would like to welcome its third division to the family, a Defense of the Ancients team. Clan ADA has been around since the beginning of DoTA and as leaders in their respective community, they make a perfect fit to join the Pandemic team. Although this is an unusual choice for a division, Pandemic sees a huge and bright future for DoTA. The real-time strategy world has been dying for a viable team platform and DoTA is the perfect fit for this niche. They are looking to finish the season undefeated and wrap up the Divisional crown in the Atlantic Gamma Division. After that, the playoffs will ensue where Pandemic will be looking to take home the championship. The team has been together for almost two years and bring a great deal of stability with them. About DoTA: DotA stands for “Defense of the Ancients”, it's a free mod for Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne. The purpose of the game is to defend your Ancient and try to destroy the opponents Ancient. The ancients are located deep in both bases, which are located at the top right and bottom left corners of the map. There are over 70 heroes that differ greatly in play style. Each of these heroes have been carefully designed so they are both balanced and unique. The map is updated frequently, sometimes to add new heroes, fix bugs or to make a balance update. The strategies possible with DotA are pretty much endless, choosing the wrong item and hero combination can mean the difference between a win and a loss for your team. The Competitive side of DoTA is just starting to flourish with CAL picking it up for a maiden season. The season has gone well and CAL plans to expand to two divisions next season. CAL-Main will be the premiere division with CAL-Open following suit. LAN events are slowly starting to show their face and there are many rumors about a large scale LAN event. Team Pandemic marks the second professional gaming organization to pickup a DoTA division. Complexity led the way with the addition of their team on January 26th. Currently there is no proxy client to watch DoTA games live, but implementation of the WaaghTV client for Warcraft3 is on the top of the DoTA Development team's list of to-dos. About Team Pandemic: Team Pandemimc is a professional gaming organization based out of Little Rock, Arkansas. The team is currently comprised of three divisions; Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat and Defense of the Ancients. Through the support of SUBWAY and Aim2game, the team travels the globe to compete in large scale LAN events.
