DotA Gaming International is announcing another tournament, this time 3v3 extended league format
After the success and popularity of the last DGI 2v2 Tournament comes another! This time they are hosting a 3v3 extended league tournament presented by Steel Series Applications. In the last tournament popularity grew after team signups closed so administrators hope to get everyone signed up for this one. Before we saw 2v2 all mid duplicate with a mirror hero matchup set for each round. This time the tournament will be 3v3 Extended League Mode which means a total of six heroes will be eliminated for the game.

The first thirty two teams that sign up get a position in the group play stage. After the registration, the group play phase will start. For the group play phase there will be eight groups containing four teams each. Every team will verse each other and each victory will get a team one point. The two leading teams of each group will advance into the single elimination round. Administrators will determine seedings based on performance in the group play stage.

Teams are allowed three players only with no backups allowed. An ancient must be destroyed for a team to win rather than kills, creep kills etc. Two heroes will be placed in top lane and one in bottom lane. No player is allowed to push into Mid lane until 15 minutes have been completed.

The finals for this tournament will be video broadcasted on GGTV (Good Game Television). Audio shoutcasting will be provided by PinkPriestess and xSassyGirlx of War-Cast.
