Meet Your Makers is the most experienced LAN team attending this tournament. They have defeated SK Gaming at Dreamhack two years in a row and always come out strong in online tournaments. This powerhouse team, considered the second best team in the world should have no problem taking home first place.
All MYM DotA players will be attending the LAN except for slahser, so the team will have no problem putting together a solid roster.
Strengths: Most experienced DotA LAN team. The team just recently won first place at Dreamhack for the third time in a row. Playing on-LAN and online are entirely different and this team has mastered both ways. General skill. MYM definitely has the most skilled players in this tournament.
Weaknesses: MYM often makes the mistake of taking risks with drafting heroes. Maelk has openly admitted to being outpicked before, and that is something that can work against them at this LAN.
Players to watch:
Maelk: This team captain is known for his confidence and comfort in playing the most random heroes in a solo lane. Just recently he shocked the community with his bloodseeker solo mid that turned out in a win!
Merlini: Easily the American favorite. Merlini is best known for his ability to solo vs a tri-lane. If there's anyone that can handle the toughest lane, it's Ben.

eMazing Gaming has impressed the community the most this year. With the recruitment of players like Hit0mi and Rwar, eMg has become a tough team to beat. Although Hit0mi will not be attending this tournament, they should have no trouble placing high. It is also highly possible for them to give a huge upset and defeat MYM, only time will tell.
eMg came in 3rd place in the MYM Prime Defending 7 Tournament and won first place in the web2zone DotA LAN tournament this fall. When they were Verge, they also won first place at Winter CPL. Hopefully their LAN experience will prove as an advantage!
Strengths: Fortunately this isn't the first time the eMg guys have played together at a LAN. Execution. If it's one thing this team has proven that they can outplay another team in, it's execution. These guy's dont give up until the bitter end and keep up with warding/ganking the whole game.
Weaknesses: eMg is very susceptible to having a "bad" game. There have been various times where the team has had questionable losses. Their biggest fear should be a "choke".
Players to watch:
Rwar: This French man has become one of the eMg DotA squads most valuable asset. He's known for his constant ganking, always giving pressure to the other team. If you ever want some killing action, watch Rwar!
DOGKaiser: If Kaiser brings his full intensity to LAN matches, the other team will be hardpressed to ignore it and that will affect how things go- 1
