The new Portugal based multi-gaming team made an impact on the eSports scene when they announced six new divisions, including a DotA squad, would be joining their team. The newly formed international team known as Xero Skill has been announced as Switchback's DotA team.

This past week, one of the top Canadian teams, Team Excello, disbanded and left six players without a team. Mohamed "mO" Nasar of Team Excello, announced today that he would be joining Team XsK to play under the new name Switchback.

I had the chance to sit down with Miky 'Samurai' Chea to get his thoughts on the sponsorship:

How do you feel about joining Switchback as their DotA team?

Samurai: I think it's great. They came to us very nicely even after our delayed acceptance. Their persistence showed us how much they want to do as an organization.

What made XsK decide to bring mO into the team? Was it pre-arranged before xLo was disbanded?

Samurai: After mO spoke with me and gave me the gist of what was going on with xLo, I felt that his dedication would make him fit in with our team. It was all so sudden, and not at all arranged in terms of xLo disbanding. So far mO has been a great addition to our team. Ever since I beat momo in chess he kind of owes his life to me.

It is early in 2008, and you just got the sponsorship from Switchback. What are your plans for 2008?

Samurai: With the help of our new sponsor, we are sure to travel to future LAN events. Switch back will surely give us endless motivation and possibilities in current and future tournaments.

It seems there are quite a few members on the team, who decides to starts?

Samurai: We usually judge by who is most active in scrimmages, but ever since our recent slump due to holidays it will take some time to decide that. We have an idea of who will play though!
