Sixteen teams who qualified for the ESL Major Series fight it out for the top prize.
Electronic Sports League, better known as ESL, has launched a Defense of the Ancients tournament.
The DotA tournament is part of the ESL Major Series which include other games such as CS:Female, CS:S, Dawn of War, FIFA207 and Pro Evolution Soccer.
There are sixteen teams competing in this league, separated into four teams in four groups. The groups will play each other to get the top two spots, where the teams will then go through a double-elimination bracket.
ESL Major Series conducted several qualifiers, both national and international, to get to the 16 teams to participate in the league.
Teams include the popular Meet Your Makers DotA, along with the SK Gaming squad. American eMazing Gaming is also participating in the tournament and Serious Gaming.
There are several other teams who are trying to make a name for themselves, and expect to see great talent standing out in the tournament.
The first place winner of the tournament will earn €750, 2nd place will take €450 and the 3rd place winner will receive €300.
