DOTA: Check-Six picks up Hi2u

By: Robby - Published March 31, 2008 at 6:03 PM EST - Writer Archive
Team Hi2u has officially signed as the Check-Six DotA team
Team Hi2u has grown to be one of the top teams in the American scene, after placing top ten in three of the previous PriDe tournaments. The team is considered West's powerhouse team, as they quickly rose in the popular DXD league, where they play frequently.

"I'm very glad that after more than a year, hi2u could have the opportunity to be sponsored, by Check-Six no less. Hopefully this can help motivate our team to play better and get back on track, because I know almost all of us have been waiting for this day to come," stated team captain, Alex "wtfmate" Nguyen.

Hi2u is not the first team Check-Six has had carry their name, as Check-Six has already had YoRiTag, merc, iNsPiRe`, JollyJoker and others play under their name. When Check-Six's last DotA team came to an end, they announced they would not be moving back into DotA. However, they decided it was the right time to venture back into the DotA scene, with ESWC approaching.
