The organization behind EG has noticed the potential of the Warcraft III mod, Defense of the Ancients, leading them to recruit a DotA squad for their team.

eMazing Gaming, known to be one of the top North American DotA teams, will now play under the EG banner. Pu "Whisper" Liu, one of their more notable members, made a statement regarding the move in the EG press release.

"We feel that EG understands and shares all of our goals, so will do everything possible to support us and help us achieve them. Our team has always displayed loyalty and dedication to whatever organization we've played under."

Liu also mentions his regret about leaving his former team. "While it is somewhat sad to part ways with eMg, and on a more personal level Matt Marcou, we look forward to what the future holds."

Alex Garfield, Executive Director of EG, is thrilled to have the new squad under its wing. "...their extensive, successful resume, we believe this particular group of players has the right combination of talent, work ethic, image, and personality to represent the EG brand and its sponsors. We're very excited to see what they can do under the EG flag."

The squad currently participates in several tournaments; such as MYM Prime, DotA Ballers League and will also look forward to qualify for DotA's inauguration in the ESWC.
