The second season of the ESL Major Series begin this week, where more than twenty teams have gathered to compete for the grand prize.

This is a fresh start for the league, as last season was plagued with several problems, such as having multiple team dropouts and no-shows.

There are four groups with around 5-6 teams each. They will play against each other to determine the top two teams in each group wherein they will eventually play the bracket round.

There are several big name teams participating in this tournament including the favorites, Meet Your Makers. SK Gaming, mousesports and Team EG (former eMazing Gaming) are also in the league.

Last year, SK Gaming managed to reach first place by defeating MYM in grand finale, winning themselves more than $1,000 cash prize. Despite numerous strong competitors, Meet Your Makers is definitely one of the favorites in this tournament, so spectators can expect that the team will try to take their revenge and win the title for themselves.

The first place winner will receive $1,200 dollars, while the second and third place will receive $700 and $480 dollars respectively.
