DOTA: Fire & Ice 2008 Announced

eMazing Gaming, LLC, announces the return of popular DotA tournament, the 2008 Dust-Off Fire & Ice Series

June 2nd, 2008, Dallas, TX -- eMazing Gaming, LLC, is proud to announce the return of our popular DotA tournament as the 2008 Dust-Off Fire & Ice Series. For 2008, Fire & Ice has evolved into a series of qualifiers that lead up to a Grand Final in Chicago, IL with over $12,500 in cash and prizes. The total prizes purse for the series will be over $25,000.

“I’m extremely pleased to bring the Fire & Ice tournament back after such a successful turn out in 2007,” said Matt Marcou, General Manager of eMazing Gaming, “This year I wanted to expand the concept in all ways and make it more accessible to the large DotA community.”

Dust-Off, a lead sponsor of the first Fire in Ice tournament, has once again offered their support for this year’s addition: “Dust-Off is pleased to once again participate and partner with this emerging event. Like the Dust-Off brand within the gaming community, this competition is growing and gaining more followers. Our goal is to grow along with the event and the gaming community.” said Ken Newman, Marketing Director for Falcon Safety Products.

The series will begin in July and run through December. The tournament series will feature stops at Netolic LAN center in Annadale, VA; The Office Games in San Diego, CA; and conclude once again at Ignite Network in Chicago, IL.
