Yes, thats right, the Death Star and the Sun Crusher could destroy the Milky Way(halo) easily, but if they left thier own galaxy whithout the Death Star, the Sun Crusher, or even the Galaxy Gun, who's going to keep the peace? Although, the New Empire could hold peace with the New Imperial Senate( not to mention the Black Fleet). And Exarcun is right about a couple things, the X-wings do own banshees, and Exar Kun could do it all by himself ( thats what I meant in comment 12 "one JEDI MASTER" I also meant" SITH LORDS" <Exar Kun>). But the New Empire wouldn't have to waste any time with bringing clones, droids, death stars, sun crushers, or even exar kun, all they have to do is bring a unit of Super Mandalorian Commandos lead by one elite Imperial Dark Knight. This team would be able to take down the Milky Way(halo) throuh a series of strikes, missions, attacks, infiltrations, and cover strikes. The team would be able to capture the spartans and the covenant leaders by themselves. Anyway you put it, Halo is owned.
Oh I almost forgot, in Star Wars vs Predators + Aliens, Star Wars would still win! The same principle of Halo vs Star Wars would apply here. The predators and aliens would get owned the way halo did except the Star Wars galaxy would use different strategies than they did when they were beating Halo.

Yeah, I read the comics, novels, books, stories, watch the shows, and I go on starwars.com (almost daily). You could say I am an Star Wars nerd, but I am not a "true fan" in George Lucas's opinion because I hate Jar Jar Binks(not gungans). I also like Halo very much(not as much as I like Star Wars). I can't wait for Halo 3.
A lot of you guys side with SW and I'm surprised. If your read the Halo books you might call it a draw if not an outright ass kicking by the Halo team. SW tech is way more advanced but Halo has got a couple of winners.

Halo Construct owns all the sun crushers and star destroyers in the galaxy period. 1 halo has like a 25000 light year radius and there are seven. They lure SW guys over to their galaxy slip into a shield world, turn on the Halo's and watch Yoda fry.
And since were resurrecting dead people lets bring back the Forerunners and the mark 12 spartan armour (for refernce Halo 1 was Mark 4 armour and it had a weaker shield compared to Halo 1 armour which is Mark 5. Mark 5 has anti grav and auto healing. Now imagine Mark 12). I say your Null arc troopers need to start recruiting Wookies cause Spartans are away more than human.
Secondly your also forgetting Cortana and other "Smart AI's". Cortana was designed to infiltrate any security system, and once she is physically inside, there is little that can stop her from taking absolute control. All droids essentially become her property and remember there a re several of these AI on the UNSC side not to mention the many multiple on the Covie side. Plus the "dumb" AI are still good enough to focus on one task like Making a Death Star fire on its own allies then self destruct. Everything with a microchip is essentially under the property of the halo side within a few hours of coming within range. And This is the extent of their tech without Forerunner help. Im sure they van think of a plague or two that can do the same for the Vong and midiclorians. Wipe those out and its way more than over.

And Star Wars "lasers" is really plasma projected into a powered bolt, thus it would penetrate MJOLNIR Mark I, II, III, IV, V, V.5, and VI (The Latest!!!!). All a STORMTROOPER would have to do is , shoot one shot to take down the over-sheild then blast ANYWHERE they want to make a wound!!!!! Your UNSC projectile "primative" weapons would't even hurt a STORMTROOPER. The Star Detroyer is even better than Onyx or Sheild Worlds!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Sun Crusher would Dedtroy your stupid installations!!!!!! "Halo Constructs" aren't worth even spitting on. Null ARC's would be more than a match to take down the whole, dang Covenant Army(plus the Spartans). Do you even know what ENCRYPTION is!!!!!!!!!! Cortana isn't even updated enough to override a POD RACER. The flood don't have "magical powers" they take over LIVE sentinents not dead ones!!!!!!!!!!! Forerunner tech is pathetic!!!!! To give you all an idea of what it would be like, the Star Was galaxy would send in The Third Death Star(the prototype that was upgraded<as seen in Empire at War>) along with the Imperial Black Fleet and Alpha Fleet. Once emerged from hyperspace(at least 4 months) the fleets would arrive at the Milky Way the fleet would start moving towards the nearest insallation( HALO ring) and blow it away. Now if the Covenant tried to activate the Ark to set of the Halo rings(not counting the one destroyed), the Imperials would activate the Death Star's Planetaty Sheild( that surrounds the Death Star and any ships near it) and it would survive a Halo activation. Now remeber, once the stupid Covenant activated the rings they've just DOOMED the WHOLE DANG GALAXY(but not the ones hanging out on the Sheild World)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So the Grand Moff would cry(because there is no more life left to Imperialize<meaning "to add to the Empire">) and he would take his wrath out on the rest of the rings. After all the rings are destroyed, The Moff would put the fleet around the Sheild World and and give an offer to the "Milky Way Rebels" to give up or be destroyed. Knowing the Covenant, they wouldn't even bother to answer the call, and they would start to take up fighting positions. The Moff would call the "Emperor"(Roan Fel) and ask if it is even worth it to capture and torture what's left of the covenant. Knowing Fel would want prisoners, the Moff would launch an attack on the sheild world's surface. The army would be made up of 4 SPHA-Ts, 2 AT-ATs, 10 AT-XTs, 4 AT-TEs, 20 Mobile Turrets, 6 defense sheilds, the 501st, 3 shadow trooper divisons, 2 ARC divisions, 1 Null ARC division, 4 commando squads, 20 Imperial Knights, 50 Marauder divisions, 30 merc divisions, 80 attack skiffs, 2o Marauder patrol units, 30 Marauder hunting packs, 2o MA fighters, and 50 attack cloud cars. This army would capture the rest of the Covenant with only the loss of probably 35 Marauder divisions, 50 attack skiffs, 27 merc divisions, 20 Marauder patrol units, 35 attack cloud cars , and 20 MA fighters. That is all. Not a big loss for the Empire. Even though it hurt the Marauders( their armor is weak). Beautifully put Commander, comment 44 has a lot of merit because I do not hesitate to admit that Halo tech would get Owned by SW tech. You guys are literally light years ahead, and any ship to ship or planet based battle would go to SW within a few hours if not minutes. But as I mentioned there are a few big advantages Halo has.

Halo energy wave destroys all life that can support flood (almost everything except bacteria and the like) within 25,000 light years. If the is strong enough to keep it's strength for that distance then I'm sure it can destroy puny planetary shields. Also since our Shield World can withstand Halo's energy, I'm sure death star is useless against it. We have 7 halos which I'm sure we can move into position to protect the galaxy. O.K. Mabey you don't have false information, but you do have messed up information. First, the Roman Numeral V = 5. I was right when I said they never went higher than Mark VI(6). You were wrong when you said that there was "mark 12 spartan armour". Guilty Spark said that he should upgrade his armor, but he never did it. Hence, I was right; because, they NEVER mention Mark 12 (not class 12, that is different). And about the Death Star, the superlaser struck Alderaan's suface BEFORE a planetary shield was activated. Yeah, Alderaan had a Planetary Shield, but it did NOT activate it when the Death Star shot at it. And, the Death Star's superlaser would have to fire twice at the Planet of Onyx. Once, for the shield, and another for Onyx to be blown away! The "shield wold" is Onyx, and it's shield is a micro Dyson Sphere(primative compared to a Planetary Shield). So, a Planetary Shield would last against a Halo activation. Even if a Planetary Shield failed to protect it from a Halo activation, the Imperial Moff would order a Hyperspace jump out of the galaxy. Then, the would come back and do what I said in comment #44. The Milky Way would lose either way. If you want another discussion, I am up for one.

The Galaxy Gun would be great against the Milky Way forces, but the Empire wouldn't need to use use such a high tech weapon against primitive forces.

OK. Now, I do have somthing to say that is on the subject of this topic. I heard once that all the Empire has to do to get the Milky Way to stand down is to send the High Prophets and UNSC Command a photo of Emperor Palpatine's wrinkled, ugly face. The UNSC Commanders and High Prophets would fall over and die of fear; then, both forces would surrender, and the Empire wins.

In the Halo novel "The Flood", and roughly halfway through the level "The Library" in Halo1, the chapter where Master Chief is running through the Library, 343 Guilty Spark makes a note indicating that the Mark V was a class 2 "Combat Skin" and he should upgrade to a Class 12. (site:<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.. This is ten times better armour. Armour that already allows these SPARTANS to lift tanks and sprint for a mile. But since this is Forerunner tech I won't include it, even though you brought back ancient Sith.
Halo energy wave destroys all life that can support flood (almost everything except bacteria and the like) within 25,000 light years. If the is strong enough to keep it's strength for that distance then I'm sure it can destroy puny planetary shields. Since Alderaan was destroyed by Death Star "laser" and it had planetary shield this means it would NOT stand up to halo energy release. (site:<http://www.stardestroyer.net/E.. Also since our Shield World can withstand Halo's energy, I'm sure death star is useless against it. We have 7 halos which I'm sure we can move into position to protect the galaxy. Death Stars and other shielded ships can't protect themselves crew form Halo energy.

First, the Roman Numeral V = 5. I was right when I said they never went higher than Mark VI(6). You were wrong when you said that there was "mark 12 spartan armour". Guilty Spark said that he should upgrade his armor, but he never did it. Hence, I was right; because, they NEVER mention Mark 12 (not class 12, that is different). And about the Death Star, the superlaser struck Alderaan's suface BEFORE a planetary shield was activated. Yeah, Alderaan had a Planetary Shield, but it did NOT activate it when the Death Star shot at it. And, the Death Star's superlaser would have to fire twice at the Planet of Onyx. Once, for the shield, and another for Onyx to be blown away! The "shield wold" is Onyx, and it's shield is a micro Dyson Sphere(primative compared to a Planetary Shield). So, a Planetary Shield would last against a Halo activation. Even if a Planetary Shield failed to protect it from a Halo activation, the Imperial Moff would order a Hyperspace jump out of the galaxy. Then, the would come back and do what I said in comment #44. The Milky Way would lose either way. If you want another discussion, I am up for one.

The Galaxy Gun would be great against the Milky Way forces, but the Empire wouldn't need to use use such a high tech weapon against primitive forces.
I'm fine with everything else you said, for now. It's just that I wanted to get some things right.
OK. Now, I do have somthing to say that is on the subject of this topic. I heard once that all the Empire has to do to get the Milky Way to stand down is to send the High Prophets and UNSC Command a photo of Emperor Palpatine's wrinkled, ugly face. The UNSC Commanders and High Prophets would fall over and die of fear; then, both forces would surrender, and the Empire wins.
