For Immediate Press Release:

Team Pandemic would like to add another addition to the family, a Halo 2 division. Halo 2 needs no introduction, but the sheer numbers behind this game are amazing. According to the online statisitics of bungie.net Halo 2 had 400,000+ unique players play yesterday, 40,000+ unique players online at any given time and over 1,000,000 matches played. Those are some pretty serious numbers. Halo 2 has also become the first console game to be featured at a CPL event. It will make its debut at the Cyberathlete Extreme World Championship 2005 in Dallas this July.

The Pandemic.Halo2 team is currently made up of the following:

Eric 'Koston' DeFazio
Eric has played CS his whole gaming career. He has two years of Cal-Invite play under his belt and won a season of Cal-Main with Explosive. More recently, Eric was the leader of both the Xeno and e7 Halo 2 divisions.

Pat 'McKee' McKee
Pat is most notable for his gaming past in Halo PC. Pat has played with numerous amazing Halo PC teams such as TAU, Check-Six and Demise, who placed 4th at CPL.

Gabriel 'Poison' Deleon
Gabby has competed with the best of the best Halo 1 and Halo 2 teams. His past teams include STR8 RIPPIN and StK, the most dominate Halo clan of all time.

Brandon 'blawblaw' Lawhorn
Brandon is one of the most underrated players within Halo right now. He doesn’t have a very deep gaming past, but his drive and dedication continues to make him turn heads.

Rich "Shibby" Webb
Rich has recently spent his time dominating the local Halo 2 scene in Ohio. He is a relative unknown on the national scene, but that will soon change as he develops with Pandemic.

Pandemic.Halo2 will compete in the next season of the Cyberathlete Amateur League, Summer CPL 2005, and a variety of stops on the MLG Pro Tour. The MLG tour stop in Houston, Texas will feature a camera and documentary crew from MTV. They haven’t officially stated their intention, but they appear to be preparing for some sort of reality show.

With this addition, Team Pandemic now has five divisions of game play. Team Pandemic is currently the only multi-gaming organization with four Cal-Invite teams (CS, CoD, DoD, and ET). With the addition of Pandemic.Halo2, there will be three teams representing Pandemic at the Summer CPL Event (CS, DoD and Halo2).

Stay tuned in the next coming weeks as they complete the six man roster by adding some other big names.
