Final Boss has announced the release of star player Dave “Walshy” Walsh. Major League Gaming has announced on their site that star Halo 3 team Final Boss has released long time player and Halo star Dave “Walshy” Walsh. Ripples were sent across the competitive gaming world today with the official word from MLG Commissioner John Nelson that Final Boss has dropped Walshy from the team. This marks the end of the longest-standing triumvirate in Halo history, and has certainly come as a shock to many. Walshy, Ogre 1 and Ogre 2 have each in many ways become synonymous with the team name Final Boss over the course of their Halo careers, and their history can be traced back as far as MLG’s inaugural Pro Circuit season in 2004. StrongSide joined the roster at the beginning of the 2007 season (replacing Saiyan) and helped the team to have perhaps their most dominant season to date on his way to achieving similarly legendary status as a Final Boss stalwart.
