oPlaiD's interview with Cooked Gamers' Justin Butler about their upcoming match vs. Wat¿.
Well, I wasn't around when it was all started, but as a team I think we roll really well. I'm more than ready for CPL You joined [cG] along with QTIP at the start of this season, and have recently added Zyos when he left [xeno]. What were the factors that led you and your partner to join, and what do you think of your latest addition? QTIP and myself have always been on the same team ever since Halo was introduced to Xbox years ago(xbox uber fraggers, 2v2 teamates in xbox and pc, and now cg.) We were looking for a team that needed 2 players at the start of the season. We both tried out several different teams, finally getting an offer for both of us on [cG] and we took it. Gaining Zyos was a great addition to our team, he is a great all around player. [cG] has a lot of players with XBox roots, with players like Zyos and DIESEL competitive at the top level. How hard was it to adjust with Halo PC and how do your XBox ties help you as a team? For myself, going from a controller to a keyboard was really no problem. I've played computer games for the last 8 years, so, I've always been used to the feel of a keyboard and mouse... once you get the lead down on pc... its no problem. Last season [cG] upset Wat¿ in the final week on the same map you play this week. With Wat¿ looking for revenge and your newest member Zyos a former member of their team have you been preparing anything special for them? We don't really have anything special for them this time around. We have had limited practice time with Zyos having family in town, and Rapture and Diesel running into tornados. Could you give a quick list of your starting roster and each of their biggest strengths? 1) Rapture - great all around player 2) Diesel - superb sniper 3) Zyos - smart player, fantastic aim 4) QTIP - "rapes your face, thats all" -QTIP 5) butler - i whore the heavies What do you think are Wat¿'s strengths as a team, and how are you preparing for them this week? I believe Wat? is exceptionally good at keeping control of the map and keeping heavies in their hands. Like I said, we havent had much time for practice, but we talk a lot of strat still in our preparation for the game. If you could pick one player on Wat¿ to have a bad game this week, who would it be and why? I'd love for them all to have a bad game. ;) I really couldnt pick out one particular player, they all roll real well together. What is your lineup for CPL? Rap - D - Zyos - Q - myself What teams are you watching out for the most, and how do you think your team will perform at CPL? I think we will do very well. LAN only makes games more interesting for everyone, and I think we all have the skill to step it up on that 30 ping ;) As for teams to watch out for... EVERYONE. Can't underestimate a single team. Xeno, Goochers, Wat, NoX-omg roach. What are your thoughts on Halo CE after its recent release? Have you seen any new maps that have caught your eye as possibilties for competition? I personally have enjoyed CE, lots of improvements (ofcourse thats up for discussion.. Diesel) :D I have yet to see any new maps that will make tournament cuts. Definately some fun maps, but nothing major yet. |

Give me a little background about your
team and how it has been doing recently?
