The Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) is proud to announce that it has selected the Republic of Singapore to replace the previously canceled China stop of the CPL World Tour.

The Singapore World Tour stop will take place Thursday, October 13 through Sunday, October 16 at The Pandang located at the heart of Singapore's central business district. The Pandang is surrounded by a variety of landmarks. Those in the immediate vicinity include St. Andrew's Cathedral, Singapore City Hall, the Singapore Supreme Court and the City Hall MRT Station.

More information on the new CPL World Tour stop in Singapore will be released in the next few days.

Boasting the largest competitive purse, a million-dollar pool for a single computer game, the CPL World Tour is the first-ever, year-long, competitive tour for the growing sport of video game competitions.

The title sponsor of the World Tour is Intel, the world's largest chip maker and a leading manufacturer of computer, networking and communication products. In addition to their top sponsorship and local activities at all stops, Intel provides the microprocessors inside every gaming PC used during the entire CPL World Tour.

The global sponsor of the World Tour is NVIDIA, the world's leader in graphics and digital media processors.

The national sponsor of the Singapore World Tour stop is Razer, the world's premier developer of cutting-edge computer peripherals for serious computer gamers and professional designers.
