Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel are once again meeting up in the Grand Finals of a World Tour stop. Only seven days ago in Singpore, Fatal1ty managed to hold off Vo0 in the Finals in two matches, five maps. Kaasjager was coming up from the Lower Bracket finals and was able to take the first match in three maps (losing on meatless, but winning on sacred and psycho). However, in the second match, Wendel managed to hold of Vo0 and win his second CPL World Tour stop title by defeating Sander in two straight maps.

Now, just one week later in Milan, Italy, these two competitors are going to go head to head once again. This will mark the fifth straight time these two players are battling it out in a World Tour Grand Final. Both players are currently have two wins in the four previous Finals. Both players have alternated victories with Kaasjager winning in Sweden, Wendel in Dallas, Vo0 in the UK and Fatal1ty in Singapore. Last week, Vo0 was coming up from the Lower Bracket, however, this time it's Fatal1ty turn after he was sent to the Lower Bracket by Vo0 in the Upper Bracket Final.

vo0 vs fatal1ty never gets old; I have to give this one to vo0 as he is in the winners bracket and he usually wins atleast 1 when he plays fat in the grand finals.

#9 Yes there is still the CPL WT finals in New York, then after that Quake 4 will be the DM 1v1 game :) Hope fatality takes this one for the usa

There is still one more World Tour stop in Chile next week before the WT Finals in November in New York.

So if we do a summary, zyz won 1 World Tour, Fatal1ty won 2 and Vo0 won all the other 5s. I think we can fairly say there's not much competition in this game. Ridiculous easy money for Vo0...

The first two maps of the second match were very close (can't remember exact score), but the last was a blowout and Vo0 won by like 20 frags or something.

You know, I think Voo might have enough points to have the title. I think it might be impossible for Voo to lose even if he comes last

Before Singapore, he had enough points to get 4th at each event with fat winning. This win just puts him up even more. Fat can't win the world tour...

Does someone have a link saying how much money everyone has won combined from all the events?

Not sure if that is out there, but I can do this:
Voo has 5 first place finishes (15k each) and 3 second place finishes (10k each). So voo has won $105,000 from Painkiller on the CPL World Tour this year.

Fatality has 2 first place finishes (15k each), 5 second place finishes (10k each) and a third place finish (7k). That's $87,000. I might be wrong on fat's third place, it was either 3rd or 4th at CPL Spain and the prize money might be wrong for that placing.
