The final CPL 2005 World Tour stop will be held this week in Santiago, Chile. Last week, Sander "Vo0" Kaasjager managed to get the victory over a determined Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel. However, Wendel was not able to come back up from the Lower Bracket despite winning the first match of the Grand Finals. He would eventually lose to Kaasjager 2-1 in the second match. Fatal1ty will be looking for revenge this weekend and go in to the CPL World Tour Finals on a winning note.

The World Tour Finals will be held from November 20th to 22nd in New York City. Be sure to stay tuned to GotFrag all weekend long to see who will be crowned as the first ever World Tour champion and take home a first place cash prize of $150,000 USD.

Zaccubus isn't going.

I think the seeds are pretty bad actually seeing as they are more based on the overall WT accomplishments than current form. Using Zaccubus as an example (seeing as I follow his results), he has come above his usual 8th seed at the last three stops, but his seed hasn't been changed probably due to earlier weaker results.

If quizzes are quizzical, then what are tests?

the seedings are completetly based on the overall world tour points (which are earned for playing and winning matches in stops), like at all other stops before (probably except the first 1 or 2).
from that angle the seedings are completetly accurate and cant really be argued about.

and btw., since some people apparently got that wrong: the 150 000 is not for the winner of this stop (who will get the usual 15 000), but for the winner of the finals next month.

(i wonder if anyone here paid any attention to the world tour so far? on the other hand, this probably reflects the painkiller "coverage" of gotfrag ...)
