I dont think it should happen after two ots. If after four ots, then the game should be moved into another map completely, not just for another set of overtimes.
it was a really bad idea to change the map, didnt like it at all. if they are gonna change it atleast have them play mr15. i agreed with alot of things moto had to say, double elimination doesnt work anymore; it doesnt show who is the best team, just the best team on that map. best of 3 would truly show which team is better. i hope gotfrag makes an article about it and cpl changes their format (like in the past with the ot rules and the round timer, both influnced by gotfrag :D.)

changing the map is kind of a dumb idea (in this format at least) becuase your supposed to see who is the better team on that particular map. when you just start changing the map randomly it seems to more imply they are just trying to produce a result than to find who is the better team on that particular map, and they are trying to combine traits of best of 3 single elim into single map double elim in a very bad way. this is a point moto sort of made in his discussion

ok, because everyone says that euros never play mill, im just going to throw it out there that clanbase eurocup actually does have mill in its rotation, and currently mouz, SK, serious, catch, fnatic, 4K, astralis, and mtw all play in the league, and since mill has already come up, before cpl, each team should have gotten some practice in, so, lets just put that little theory to rest..

No one is whining about 3D losing, they "may" have still lost if they continued to play on Nuke, but #24 you are obviously horrible at this game and no nothing of which you speak. Mill was not practiced by either team and should not of been put into the rotation. Im not making excuses for 3D because they did play poorly on Mill but to their defense they went round for round with your soon to be CPL champs and had they stayed on nuke I do believe 3D would of gone on to win the CPL and all the Euro children would of cried at their desks.... in bo3 3D and coL > SK

personally I think that it was the right idea to change the map, seeing as though the scores were tied up 3times (15-15) (then the OT's)
the admins were probably trying to make it a big more exciting for the viewers anyway and helping make the competition move along, who knows there could have been 5/6 more OT's.....think about it..
I think it was a bad decision to change the map too. But all the talk about "3D would've gotten to the finals if they continued nuke" is pretty funny to read. But that's expected...

Seems like the americans think that it was just bad for 3D to change map... I would say that it was even worse for SK, since the european teams don't have as much experience on mill as the american teams. Sure, they play the map now, but the americans started to play the map several years ago.
Anyways, SK was the better team this match, now stop with the whining and be glad that at least one american team got to the top 3.

You think hockey penalty shootout is unfair because one team practiced it more? Show some respect and celebrate the tournaments best game instead.
i really didnt say anyone say 3d lost BECAUSE of the map change..the idea is that it was the wrong thing to do whomever it favoured..if sk had lost it wudve been the same story....its just the sk fans who wudve been more in number claiming it was stupid...the only decent pt some mentioned cud be the fact that 3d played without their mill lineup where miller really did look uncomfortable playing shags spot... and for that matter penalty shootouts are unfair ways to settle things....but there is no better way to do it so...
