Part I – The Best Frags

The opening sequence of this film highlights a variety of top frags during the event from the competing teams: Team 3D, JMC, zEx, EG, U5, mNm and Pandemic. Amazing clips include:
-JMC’s Hostile holds off a Team 3D counter-attack on dust2 with 4 huge awp kills.
-U5 Pham presents a mixed bag with a deagle headshot, AK47 headshot and knife shank against EG in the nuke upper bombsite.
-Patyojon from U5 gets a pistol round glock ace against Team 3D but comes up just short as 3D gets the bomb defused.
-Sonny and Daff of Pandemic go to work with AKs in the trainyard taking down all five of zEx, including 4 headshots.

Part II – Grand Final – JMC vs. 3D

The second half of this movie focuses entirely on the best-of-three grand final between Jax Money Crew and Team 3D.

Hanes from JMC shows how the pros do it with a huge opening round protecting his team’s planted bomb in the upper nuke bombsite. Numlocked continues to follow the action with frags the best rounds and keeps you up to date on the contextual intensity with the map’s running-score up top. Watch the momentum change as Method of 3D defends the upper bombsite with 4 colt kills on an attacking JMC force. However, JMC manages to pull away at the end securing the first map 16-12.

Jax Money Crew takes the opening pistol round again this time led by Des1re’s three USP kills in the trainyard. JMC puts on the pressure big-time after already winning the first map, by going up 11-4 in the first half of de_train - their map selection. Yet, don’t count Team 3D out, you’ll see how they’ve earned a reputation as one of the greatest comeback teams in the history of competitive Counter-Strike. Just when needed most, Team 3D’s Method steps it up big and decimates JMC with his awp, going 20-0 which enables him to keep all his teammates loaded with weaponry. Method’s huge play takes 3D through to the win with a 16-12 score.

Down to the final map, winner takes all. JMC proves masters of the opening pistol round again with three huge glock frags by ph33r. On the verge of defeat, down 15-13, ph33r does it again in the banana this time with four colt kills on a rushing Team 3D force. JMC manages to last rounds of map taking it to overtime. In overtime, Exodus and Hostile sets the tone with a barrage of awp kills and colt headshots. JMC sweeps all of overtime, winning the Layered-X Grand Championships, 21-15.
