Defense

The 4-1

The great thing about inferno, defensive-wise, is the fact that bombsite B only has one entrance to it. It is hard to fake it or attack from multiple angles, and if you have a good enough AWPer, he can pretty much hold this site solo.

You are going to want to use this defensive setup if you have enough trust in your AWPer and the offense is hitting bombsite A a lot.

AWPer

He is going to have to play the banana area of B semi-aggressively. When I say aggressive, I do not mean cocky. He is going to have to play it smart out there. You are going to need at least two frags and time your flashbangs just right so your backup has time to get to you and protect the site.

Spawn side of A

This will be played by two players. Their job is going to be the Window room, the middle, and the spawn side of the bombsite. One is going to have to spot the middle from farther back so he is able to have a swift rotation over to bombsite B if needed.

The left side of A

This will also be played by two players. Their job is going to be the hallways and the left side of the site. They will not have to worry about the left side as much as the halls, seeing as how it is already being watched by two players. The main focus is going to be the halls and since there are two of you, you should be at very different angles. This is because when teams like to come out of the halls, it is usually with a lot of flashbangs, if they are smart, and you cannot afford to both be blind. A nice crossfire will throw off any player coming out of this narrow chokepoint.

Your job now is to take into consideration everything said here about making your own playbook. It may be a little work, and studying your plays may be boring, but I guarantee you when you finally get to the top that you will look back and know that your hard work was worth it.
