Now for what you've been waiting for, your first glimpse inside of ESWC 2006, located in The Palais Omnisports of Paric Bercy (one of the main indoor sporting Arenas in Europe).
"The ESWC Organizing Committee is proud to present the first pictures of the stage and main hall event design."

“Nothing is down to chance in electronic sports. It is all a matter of reflexes, psychology, training, and the ability to merge into a digital world and feel its force. We apply those rules in everything we give to the ESWC”, said Matthieu Dallon, President of Games-Services and founder of the ESWC.
You can expect GotFrag to have full coverage of ESWC 2006, so don't worry! Last year we covered both CPL Summer 2005 and ESWC 2005 at the same time due to a conflict between event dates. With the CPL's announcement of Summer 06 to take place between July 5th through 9th, you can rest assured that you will be able to catch every game here on GotFrag without having to worry about managing which event to watch!

but this setup really owns everything.
/endrant
/begin astonishment of the venue !
I imagine the square blue stage in the middle would be for the big cs matches (and finals). The povs would be shown on the small screens right behind each player. Makes sense.
The more I think about it, the more I think CPL should have something along the same line. But then again I reckon theres probably more people up for spectating who are within travelling distance from Paris than Dallas.
I'm glad I'll be there !
ESWC !!!!! <3 it
#28 The prize money is a lot for both, so I imagine most of the top teams will make it to both (they always used to so theres no reason why they can't this year).
not so far away, i might go and check it out for once.
