Top 5 CS players in Taiwan and why. 5G, Polo, Luke, Xargon, Vocal The five players listed all contributed to their team individually. Certainly they all have their different individual characteristics, most importantly however is that they all have occupied a very important part in the championship team; their understanding and individual skill is beyond the other contestants. Top 5 CS teams in Taiwan and why? In these last two or three years, there hasn't been enough team stability in Taiwan besides eXtremeGamers to enumerate the five best teams of all time, because other teams usually are unable to maintain the roster for six months as they do not stop replacing team members or replacing the whole team. Their deficiency of not putting the diligent determination into practicing, months before making considerable progress, has affected their chance of maintaining a long-term team. Another reason is the lack of online competition and LAN events being held in Taiwan – when there is one, it is purely for entertainment purposes with few or no prizes. Apart from the LAN events held in August - the Hi-net and WCG - other events are rare. How come Taiwan has never attended a CPL or other major international events? Financial reasons. These events all require money (travel expense, accommodation, equipment), these computer companies' marketing personnel show a lack of interest in our competition, and they did not understand the benefits and continuously spin in the traditional propaganda method, gradually losing interest in the gaming competition and would not even spare a glance at us. Are there any leagues like CAL in Taiwan? Strictly speaking, there is none. Teams do not sustain long enough to participate in leagues and frankly speaking, there is a lack of motivation for teams to play. When will Taiwan begin to attend more international events? When we get more funding. It’s difficult for teams to stay together when they attend local events and work hard for it, only to realize that their end result has no rewards whatsoever. Even top teams that are at the top of this pyramid are struggling daily to gain the funding and motivation to play the game. |
