Due to the lack of sponsorship in India, it's basically the richest kids with the most time who form the best clans of India. Online gaming isn't a big thing, lan is generally preferred. ACID are a bunch of great fraggers, no doubt, but they have brains the sizes of peas and overbloated attitudes. Their strats are terrible and they only win because they verbally abuse and harass the opposing team, so that there is lot of anger, irritation, distraction and tension playing against these guys. Most people cannot stand to that. MOD is a much better team, as is demented.
ACID (Hellscream, Sh33p, Stalker attax, E X A I L E, Antidote) were missing Stormblast I think, but that still does not justify going down 16-11 on inferno and, oh joy of joys, 16-4 on cbble.
Cbble is a stupid choice for a final map, I agree, but I'm thouroughly pleased with the result.
Nickunj Bansal is another player with a monoply over wc3. He too has been beatenm though he'll still go. Props to saint2k.

how is that allowed during matches? do they intimidate the organisers into allowing it as well?

Dude, the Indian pro gaming community is small. Events are generally mangaed by inexperienced people or by the pro gamers themselves. Most of tehm know each other very well and as they end up playing each other a vast number of times, a healthy repetoire builds up, both inside and outside the game. There are no seperate sound proof glass boxes, teams sit on the same stage and snide comments flit through rather easily under the nose of a bewildered and abused admin.

this a+e team is pretty good . ive seen them play and they are real good

lol no verbal harassment or anything of the sort goes on.. they were winning because of better levels of skill and nice teamwork. @ midway : there were always 3-4 teams in and around the level of ACID, guess they finally stepped up their game one notch. gl to them at eswc.

I have played lan tournaments in mumbai where ATE participated and a few players of ACID would mak a mumbai team and play these local lan tournaments and ATE won quite a few.
ATE lost to acid in mumbai finals and they stepped up thier game for the india final . Gaming in india is slowly picking up.ATE is a good team with a variety of players . Its got 2 mad fraggers BEN and IMPALE.Its got 2 team players AMAR and MIKE and and RITZ a player who has the most random days . This team has a good combination and finally ACID has been beaten.
I am really happy for these guys as they put in a lot of hard work and i hope they play well in france to.
This team has a kid whose nick is IMPALE he has a great future
