In association with Progaming Italia, KODE5 is pleased to announce the hottest gaming event to take place in Southern Europe – KODE5 Italy. KODE5 Italy invites Counter-Strike 1.6, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, and Quake 4 gamers from around the world to square off for the right to represent Italy at the KODE5 Global Finals. Supported globally by Foxconn, Corsair Memory, and Razer, and supported regionally by many others, the KODE5 Global Gaming Revolution takes competitive gaming to an international stage with events being held in 20+ countries worldwide.

KODE5 Italy Regional Qualifier

Located in Southern Europe, KODE5 Italy will take place in the historic city of Bolzano, Italy. From July 22nd to 23rd, KODE5 and ProGaming Italia will be hosting the KODE5 Italy Regional Qualifier at the Business Innovation Center. With modern architecture and state-of-the-art facilities, the BIC is an ideal place to hold the KODE5 Italy Regional Qualifier. With an exposition center 360 sq.m. in size, the BIC will easily accommodate 24 Counter-Strike teams, 24 Quake 4 players, and 16 Warcraft III: Frozen Throne gamers for the double elimination format.

Founded in 2003 by former professional gamers Daniel Schmidhofer and Holger Schopf, Progaming Italia S.r.l is the market leader for online and offline e-sports events in Italy. Their services include professional e-sport event management, game servers, and e-commerce. Progaming Italia also distributes a number of gaming products for the region, and will be providing coverage for the event, including live streaming over IPTV, HLTV, and WaaaghTV coverage, in addition to live tourney results and news on their dedicated e-sports page.
