The top four competitors of the NGL one competitions, Counter-Strike and Warcraft III, will head to Leipzig, Germany next weekend to compete on LAN for over $50,000 in cash prizes. The inaugural NGL one season kicked off back in May, and after nine weeks of competition the top four finalists find themselves with a berth in the playoffs.

The playoffs, as already mentioned, will be on LAN at the 2006 Games Convention. Over the course of three days, these playoff teams will battle it out for a shot to win the championship along with the cash prize. The brackets and match schedules have been released and can be found below. Make sure to set your Personal Timezone so that all matches times on the site will automatically be converted into your timezone. As always, stay tuned to GotFrag for full event coverage.

In Counter-Strike, both the Ninjas in Pyjamas and fnatic are the two heavily favoured teams heading into the playoffs. Everyone will be looking forward to that potential rivalry match in the Upper Bracket Finals should both defeat their respective opening round opponents. ALTERNATE aTTaX has a completely different roster than the one that helped them get their second place finish in NGL and are really in tough against the other three teams.

For Warcraft, all four teams have very solid rosters and it will be a very tight fight to the finish. Four Kings managed to finish the season as number one with their roster that consists of FoV, ToD and Grubby. mYm came in close second with the likes of Lucifer and Spirit_Moon. SK Gaming and Mousesports round out the three and four positions and will both be looking to pull the opening round upset.
