The China Esport Games Xi'an stop has finished with Hacker.Gaming coming out on top.
The 4th and last stop of CEG (China Esport Games) 2006 Tour took place on Jan 5-7, 2007, in Xian, China. With almost all top Chinese teams attending (with the exception of the new wNv.gm and CEG Guangzhou winner Newlife), this tournament was highly competitive. Eighteen teams started in group play (4 groups) with 8 teams advancing to BO3 single elimination.
In the end Hacker.gm, who recently placed 5th at both WSVG and CPL Winter, claimed the title after beating SP Clan on 2 consecutive maps. On its road to the grand final, Hacker.gm took revenge on CPL China winner Star.ex in semi-finals, beating them 2:1.
