Day Three of the 2006 Winter CPL brings us some great matches! Check out 4Kings taking on 69N29E, cooller and Jibo going at it, or what many consider the real CS final match, fnatic versus Pentagram. The GotFrag TV crew also held another Roundtable prior to the Final match, covering all sorts of topics, so be sure to check it out! This was in group play on Day One of the event. Size: 257 MB Length: 48 Minutes Encode: 732 Kbps December 18th - Day Two NOTE: We broadcast the Pandemic vs United 5 match on Day Two, but that recording is currently corrupted, so we are unable to publish that broadcast at this time. Pandemic vs SK Gaming - Counter-Strike 1.6 - Second Group - Dust2 (click here) Pandemic takes on SK Gaming in this match during the second group play on Day Two of the event. It is a doozy weighing in at nearly 2 hours in length, but it certainly lived up to the hype. Whenever these two teams meet, it is bound to be a good match, this one was no exception and the action got intense as the match goes into triple overtime. As it turns out, this would end up being this long standing coL lineup's last match together. Meet Your Makers clashes up against a red hot fnatic in an all European CPL Finals showdown in Dallas, Texas. The match started fairly slowly for both teams, but once fnatic got the momentum rolling, MYM could do nothing to change the tide. Pregame, both maps, and a post victory interview with Oscar “Archi” Torgersen of fnatic are included. Size: 412 MB Length: 1 Hour, 16 Minutes Encode: 732 Kbps Resolution: 640 x 480 Quake 3: December 17th - Day One czm vs Raistlin - Quake 3 - First Group (click here) The very first Quake match ever broadcast by GotFrag TV! It did not seen to effect him too much though in this match. :) This was in Double Elimination Upper Round 2 on Day Two of the event. These two would meet again later in the day for the Finals. Jibo comes out of the lower bracket to take on czm once again, this time for the title! This video includes pregame discussions, the matches, and a postgame interview with czm. Topic's ranged from the CPL game Severity, rule changes and tournament formats, Q3 v Q4, and even midgets with spaceboots were discussed. Word of caution. Mr. Rom enjoys an occasional swear word. Mr. Lake also discusses team loyalty and heart andthe passion to game that he feels is key to drive himself and his team to compete at the highest level.
