With Bobby "kEEn" Aihama leaving the team to join Pandemic, Kevin "aZn" Wang's leaving the team, and Shaun "hostile" Catron going to DiE, the team needed two players to quickly bring their lineup back to full strength. This United5 team, which enjoyed rising fortunes in the middle of 2006 as Check-Six's cs team, has yet to regain their stride after some turmoil in their ranks.

During this time period they left, then rejoined Check-Six and then left again for United 5. Along the way they lost and regained Aihama, added Ryan "phamtastik" Pham and Catron to replace Albert "hahN" Hahn and Peter "supply" Lee, and replaced Noah "StrikeR" Alvarado with Lee.

Hahn rejoins his former team while Hui has played with these players in the past. Both were also members of Cyberglobe, the team that eventually became x6.us, and other west coast teams. United 5 appears to be committed to building a stable local lineup for this upcoming year. Jimmy "jfogle" Koller, in a statement on United 5's webpage, finally feels that the team has a stable roster and can look towards future events.

"It's been a turbulent several weeks since CPL with our future in question," said Koller. "With Bobby leaving for Pandemic, Shaun going inactive, and aZn joining and leaving the team, what we've been trying to accomplish most is simply getting to a point where we know our roster is set and we can work towards the future. We feel that we finally have that at this point, five dedicated, familiar, and highly skilled players that we know will be committed to our cause for 2007."
