Team Pandemic and Ubisoft's Frag Dolls are now sponsored by Dell. “With these sponsorships, Dell is ratcheting up its ability to network and play directly with college student and women gamers, via gaming events, online forums and other digital media,” said Susan Kittleson, director of Dell games and customer marketing. “Dell wants to showcase PC gaming at its highest level, and there’s no better way than to partner the best talent with our awarding-winning hardware.” Frag Dolls, the female gaming team, will be on the search for their next member as a promotion for their new sponsorship. Prospective gamers can interview at the Dell booth at QuakeCon in Dallas from August 2nd - 5th. Later on female gamers will have to compete against each other at the Penny Arcade Expo which lasts from August 24th - 26th. They will have to play various games, such as Rainbow 6 Vegas, and the winner will be invited to join the team. The Dell University program is supporting Pandemic, and the team will exclusively play on Dell XPS systems. As a promotion for the program, Pandemic will travel around to various college campuses to host gaming tournaments. There will be various prizes handed out for winning, one of them being a trip to Sweden with Pandemic for the WSVG finals. The full press release can be found on the next page. Page:
