All Games: CSPromod to enter closed beta version

By: Luis Mira - Published July 30, 2007 at 3:35 PM UTC - Writer Archive
Alex Garfield has confirmed CSPromod to be near the first releasable version.
The executive director of the CSPromod project confirmed today on LA Complexity's website that the modification designed for Counter-Strike: Source will officially enter the closed beta version tomorrow, July 31st.

"All necessary aspects of Counter-Strike have been completed, and the modification is fully functional," Garfield said.

"We will be using the closed beta test primarily in order to further tweak and perfect gun behavior (as well as, obviously, to check for general bugs)."

It is still unknown who will be testing this closed beta version or when the official version will be released to the public. A press statement is expected to be released Tuesday.
