All Games: Berlin vs. Stockholm in CGS Euro Championship

By: Jack Westerman - Published September 24, 2007 at 11:11 AM EDT - Writer Archive
One day after the Championship Gaming Series’ European combine and draft event, the two drafted teams will face one another in the European Championship.

Birmingham, UK – The Berlin Allianz is due to face the Stockholm Magnetik today in the European CGS Championship. Although both teams are already qualified for the CGS World Finals by default, the winner of today’s game will enter the finals as a higher seed, giving them an easier route to victory.

The order of play is Dead or Alive first, followed by Project Gotham Racing, FIFA and then Counter-Strike: Source. The finals will not be streamed on the CGS website, but a 4000 slot SourceTV is available for the CS:Source match.

The match was due to begin at 12pm GMT, but has been significantly delayed and is now due to start at 2:30pm GMT. As Counter-Strike: Source is the last game to be played, expect a delay of approximately 45 minutes before the SourceTV goes live.
