The management of the Insignia Cadre organisation have announced that the team has closed down, bringing an end to their successful two year run.
Earlier today, the management team behind Insignia Cadre, an organisation that has been at the top of the European Counter-Strike: Source and Day of Defeat: Source scenes for two years, announced that the organisation will be closing down. The team has not ruled out future revival, but for the time being, they are closed indefinitely.
According to the management team, the closure is due to lack of resources, as the team had become too demanding and time consuming to upkeep. They issued the following statement explaining why the move has been made at this time:
“On the Insignia Cadre side of things we have realized that we don't have the resources now to run it at the level we want to. Now when our ET and CoD2 teams stopped playing and DoD:S is also on a break until January, it's a good time for us to make decisions about Insignia Cadre's future. We will release all our teams of their duties and freeze Insignia Cadre for now. As soon as we find the missing pieces to make it run like we want, we will bring Insignia Cadre back in action. We are extremely glad that our CSS team has found a great new home right away and wish them very good luck to the future events! Best of luck to DoD:S team too when you return and keep on leading the scene!”The management has also announced that their Counter-Strike: Source players have made an immediate move to the 4Kings organisation, although the DoD:S players have yet to find a new home.
4Kings lost their previous Counter-Strike: Source team to the Championship Gaming Series, when they were drafted to the London Mint franchise last month, and have been looking to fill the void ever since.
The new line-up of the 4Kings CS:S team is as follows:

Juha "Eversor" Tolonen

Samuel "God" Räsänen

Aki "Kankeli" Salminen

Juha "odiouz" Westerlund

Juha "aNGeldusT" Kurppa
Paul “Ovi” Monks, General Manager of 4Kings, had this to say about the addition:
“I’m very glad to see Insignia Cadre join 4Kings as our new Counter-Strike Source team, since the departure of our last team to the CGS draft we have been trying to fill the void they left behind. I have known Angeldust for a while and have nothing but respect for him as do many other people within the CSS community. Insignia Cadre has always been a team that I have loved to have on the same team as myself and now hopefully with a change of teams they will show what they can do with their new line up in up coming Leagues and LAN’s.”
