Seems pretty cool, but no Counter-Strike? It's great to see a COD4 tourney though.

The BYOC is basically GeForce LAN 5.

ESWC is going to be there too.

You 1.6 people are very slow.

Erm, they're very slow for not mentioning that on a games list.

People don't read articles, they skim. We skim looking for Counter-Strike. If we don't see it, we STOP reading. That's how a good 90+% of articles are read, ESPECIALLY online. Who ever wrote it should have taken that into consideration.

An intelligent person would google, ESWC. And then there they would discover the game list.

But like most 1.6 players, you don't go looking for yourself, you just wait for someone to do the work or for them to tell you their opinion.

cash and product prizes are sick for the amateur tournaments...
http://www.nvision2008.com/Enthusiasts/to..

QUOTE:
Tournament cash prizing is scaled based on the number of teams or players competing in that respective tournament. For example, if there are 20 teams signed up for Call of Duty 4, the first place team will receive $1000 and a next generation graphics card for each player, for a total first place prize package of $5000 plus hardware. If 30 teams sign up, then the prize pool will increase to $1200 and graphics card per player for the first place prize, for a total first place prize package of $6000 plus hardware.

Say that you just want to go watch the matches at ESWC, is it $10? I looked at the general admission so that must be it?

Use the NVISION forums ( http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showfo.. ) to band up with fellow gamers and make one. There will also be BYOC tournaments for product prizes for most of the official tournament games and more (CS 1.6, CS:S, etc).

Also, post your feedback on rules and more on the GeForce LAN tournament forums.
