All Games: Gravitas sneaks into bracket play

After a shaky tournament, Gravitas defeats BMFC in the last match of the day to earn themselves a slot in the double elimination bracket.
The last match of the night was certainly not one without meaning. The stage was set for BMFC to take on Gravitas Gaming on the live GotFrag TV Broadcast.

Both teams were sitting in a tie for 4th place, with a 2-3 record. A win for BMFC would complete their Cinderalla story, giving them the third seed. Gravitas on the other hand were performing well below their expectations. After a fourth place in San Diego and being the runner-up in Orlando, not making out of the round robin stage would have been a huge disappointment for them, especially after being recently picked up by their sponsor, Gravitas.

The Duelists took the first two maps in a convincing fashion, putting BMFC on the ropes. The five minute break seemed more like fifteen as BMFC huddled up to decide what strategy they would use to keep their tournament hopes alive.

They decided to make their only substitution of the day, using their backup hunter Kardonnis instead of Thorrior in hopes of changing the tides.

Gravitas wouldn't have any of it though, defeating BMFC rather quickly and earning themselves a spot in the bracket play in which they knew they deserved.

Here's another point of view of the last round, where Gravitas move onto bracket play tomorrow. They seem pretty excited.

Coverage of the double elimination bracket begins tomorrow at 11:00am EST. The event will be streamed live all day on GotFrag TV.
