All Games: fnatic goes down, NoktyN rages

GotFrag checks in with a video update on MLG Dallas PC Circuit.
Fnatic have gone without a loss since San Diego, being the undefeated champions in Orlando, as well as round robin play here in Dallas.

Last year's runner-up, Gravitas, seems as though they've finally figured out a way to slay the giants. Ely explains how they were able to

"We switched out Emolol for Kesher and ran a Priest, Mage, Warrior comp. It's a comp we've been saving for fnatic in case our main would fail again."

Fnatic won the first map convincingly, making it seem like they would send off their opponents with yet another flawless victory. However, Gravitas came back in the second map to tie it up.

"I was playing sloppy in the first game, not keeping everyone topped off."

They tightened up their play for the rest of the series, winning the next three games to move onto the upper final.

Fnatic will be sent to the lower bracket, and be forced to fight their way back if they want back-to-back MLG titles.

That wasn't the only upset of the first round though. Pandemic took down GotGame West 3-1 as well.

GotFrag spoke with Noktyn about the big win. "It was huge, a lot of people out there might call it an upset, but we don't think so."

Knowing they would be up against GotGame West in the bracket, they went back to the hotel room to practice for that match-up specifically.

"We knew we would have problems against RLD, so we decided to run our RWD comp, with Douja playing druid. We played about ten games vs CAPSLOCKCREW online last night before we knew we were ready."

Gravitas and Pandemic will play in the upper bracket finals. Pandemic defeated them early yesterday 3-0 in an RMP mirror, but obviously neither team is afraid to switch up their comps.
