All Games: EM III: Philadelphia Wrap-Up

By: Nick Bee - Published November 24, 2008 at 10:37 PM EST - Writer Archive
All the coverage of the Extreme Masters III: Global Challenge Americas Final in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The top teams from two disciplines gathered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania this weekend for what became a heated competition to decide who the best of the Americas were.

A prize purse of $50,000 for the Counter-Strike tournament, as well as a $30,000 purse for World of Warcraft gave everyone in attendance more than enough reason to bring their A-game. The South American imports from MiBR were the heavy favorites leading into competition on Day 1 and quickly established dominance. The WoW scene was in the midst of a mass confusion about how the latest WotLK patches would effect game play, a situation that led to quite the upset late in the tournament.

Over the weekend GotFrag brought you coverage from both events, listed below is a complete collection of related coverage and content, enjoy!
