All the coverage of the Extreme Masters III: Global Challenge Americas Final in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A prize purse of $50,000 for the Counter-Strike tournament, as well as a $30,000 purse for World of Warcraft gave everyone in attendance more than enough reason to bring their A-game. The South American imports from MiBR were the heavy favorites leading into competition on Day 1 and quickly established dominance. The WoW scene was in the midst of a mass confusion about how the latest WotLK patches would effect game play, a situation that led to quite the upset late in the tournament.
