Holodek will be hosting a local 1.6 event from July 18-19th in Kittery, Maine. We are throwing our second CS 1.6 tournament at the new venue! It will be a 5v5 tournament that will run all weekend. The last tournament had some great competition, but this time we really want to bump up the number of teams and PRIZE MONEY! Address: 506 Route 1, Kittery, Maine 03904 We're about 1.5 hours north of Boston. Date/Time: Saturday, July 18th Doors open at 8:00 a.m. Group play begins at 9:00 a.m. Group Play Until Finished (2 out) Sunday, July 19th Doors open at 7:30 a.m. Tournament Begins at 8:00 a.m. Double Elimination Rules: The 2009 CAL rules and maps will apply! Maps to expect: dust2, nuke, train, inferno. More TBA Cost per Player: $40 per player (6/1-6/14) $50 per player (6/15-7/5) $55 per player (7/6-7-17) $60 per player at the door Teams must pre-pay at least 3 players to secure a spot in the tournament. Pre-payment is a commitment to the tournament, so pre-pay will not be refunded unless the tournament is canceled. You may pre-pay via credit/debit over the phone, or via cash at the venue. Sorry, but no PayPal at the moment. Cash prize & More: 24 team cap so register early! $3000 cash prize pool @ 24 teams, plus product prizes Pays 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th $1800/$600/$400/$200 split @ 24 teams 16+ teams, prize money will increase beyond $3000. 20+ and it will increase farther beyond $3000 Equipment Details: We will be running 20 setups on CRT monitors. Our PCs work well and we had no serious complaints at our last tournament. We will have our PCs set up and working with our own equipment, so we will not delay matches more than 10 minutes if your personal equipment is failing.
