de_lite, First ESEA Map Released

After months of concepts and tweaks, we're proud to release the first public beta version of de_lite, a new CS 1.6 map created by Ted "cashed" McIlwain in conjunction with ESEA and a team of top pros from coL, EG, GG, SK, and more!

We're listening to the community's feedback on the map and we're hoping to have it integrated into ESEA League Season 4, which will start in August.

Looks like a combination of De_dust2 and De_inferno.

It's a dust2 with 2 mids. Which I think is brilliant. I love the layout, but I don't like the way it looks. I was expecting a bit more from cashed look-wise. I haven't played it yet but will do shortly and give my input ^o^.. not like anyone cares. :DD

That long connection to B (rushing all left sides as T) is the inferno's banana..
The ladder and that window looks like some strike/inferno/tuscan/fire places
A bombsite is perfect.. the B also remember's me cpl_fire..i think its 60/40 CT sided, B should be very hard to take

its a VERY VERY well thought out map. it REALLY is excellent. competition worthy already. I havent found any bugs, but then again i haven't really looked.

ESEA should re-do old maps, like cbble, prodigy, comrade_3rd_route, etc, this map looks alright I hate Warehouse looking maps tho

#27 de_cbble has been redone by Brute: De_Forge. de_prodigy redone? Hmmm... I loved that map when I used to pub it, worst map ever in terms of match-play. I'd love to bring that map up to par with todays competitive needs. On de_comrade_3rd_route, yuck.

comrade owns, people gotta man up, cbble is worthless tho, 12-3 halves with the best teams in the world

comrade is sick, this map seems very T sided for me. CTs will have hard time accessing the window room as T's seem to beat them if they flat out rush the entrances for the window

I've never talked to anyone who didn't like comrade...

#32 it's got a serious case of RANDOM HALLWAY SYNDROME.

de_lite sorta has the same feel, but more open.

very similar to inferno. Bomb sites are turned and flipped... horrible.

The map is okay... AWP spots are lacking and this is how you can describe the map. Empty space with a bunch of clutter in the next area, reminding most people of source. Conclusion : this map is bringing more people to source.

So they put de dust 2 and inferno in a blender to make this stodge. Awesome.

decent map with plenty of awp spots at B but id say A is just a bit awkward and you kinda get f*cked trying to hold the site alone, i think if they changed around A bit it would be a new replacement for mill

de_lite is the most map in the world

You Got Played By A Pro.

By looking at the map, I would say its decent but a little too many hallways.
From playing in ESEA pugs on this map (with a bunch of statwh0r3ss), there are just wayyyy too many hiding spots and useless corners. Its paradise for ESEA lurkers and campers.
