This event is now a Qualifier for WCG Canada. There will be tournaments for Guitar Hero World Tour and Virtua Fighter 5 in addition to Counter-Strike 1.6

This thread is for anyone looking to ring, start a pug or advertise their need for additional players

Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament August 1st.

Minimum 8 to 16 teams max in attendance.

Each team must bring 125$ CASH for the tournament prize pot
Pre-registration is 50$ per team and MANDATORY.
You may pay in person at VS or use paypal.
There will be a $5 service fee to pre-register using paypal
Deadline is 8:00pm Friday, July 31st

PAYPAL ADDRESS WILL BE RELEASED JULY 7TH. SEEDING WILL BE BASED ON TEAM PRE-REGISTERATION, SO PLEASE PRE-REGISTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Players are responsible for bringing their own computer peripherals. Keyboards and Mice(MX518) will be provided. Headsets will be available for rent.
Only 2 usb slots will be available. No Ps2 mice or keyboards.

Recording HLTV will be provided for both servers &
a dedicated deathmatch server will be setup for warm-up.

There will be a solo deathmatch competition during tournament intermission. Players or spectators can pay $2 to compete in 5 minute deathmatch sessions spread over the 5 tournament maps. The person with the most map wins will win a prize.
There will also be multiple door prizes

Numerous restaurants are close to vs, and many beverages (pop, water, energy drinks) will be available for purchase
